Francesco Guidolin returns to take charge of Swansea on Saturday, after recovering from illness.

The Swans welcome bottom club Aston Villa to the Liberty in his first game back in the dugout.

Victory would see Guidolin’s men move 11 points clear of danger with seven games to go.

“We have to play well and we hope to get a good result to take into the last part of the season," says Guidolin. "But we have to just focus on this game because it won’t be easy.

“I know their situation, and I know how difficult matches like this can be. But I hope to see my team play well, with concentration and intensity.”

London Irish must adopt a "cup final mentality" is they are to escape relegation from the Premiership, according to defence coach Grant Doorey.

The Exiles are eight points adrift at the bottom of the table with six games left to play, starting with a home fixture against Gloucester on Sunday.

"There's no tomorrow for us," Doorey told BBC Radio Berkshire. "If you're ever going to take risks, it's now."

Bournemouth were handed a 5-1 defeat last time out against Tottenham. Can they make amends on Sunday at White Hart Lane?

"Spurs are the best side we've played. Their work ethic and attitude - I was very impressed. We want to see how much we've improved," said Cherries boss Eddie Howe.

"It's been a rollercoaster season, we got heavily beaten by Manchester City and Spurs but with setbacks sometimes you find the answers."

Tottenham v Bournemouth (Sun 16:00 GMT)

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has been speaking to the media as his side prepare for their trip to Tottenham on Sunday.

Is he surprised none of his players were in the England squad announced earlier today?

"I'm personally not disappointed no Bournemouth players are in the England squad. I get to keep them longer," said the Cherries manager.

"I'm sure they were in Mr Hodgson's mind. It's not too late for any of them, though."

What's Stoke boss Mark Hughes got to say about his side's visit to Watford on Saturday?

“Watford are a very good team as they have shown throughout the season, they have good threats and the two lads up front are a handful too," said the Welshman.

“We have seen that already this season when they came to our place and beat us 2-0 - deservedly so too, in my opinion.

“We need a better performance than we produced in the home game that is for sure."

Crystal Palace v Leicester (Saturday, 15:00 GMT)

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is trying hard not to be distracted by thoughts of winning the Premier League title. Well, that's the corporate line anyway.

He says: “We don’t know what will happen in the next match. We just want to fight, not to think of the title.

“It will be a very tough match against Crystal Palace. In our last game with them I was so happy [that we won] as they are a good team.

“I want us to enjoy and fight. If the result comes, then great, if not, it doesn’t matter. Carry on, let’s play.”
