All 11 Formula 1 teams have told the sport's bosses that they want to revert to the 2015 qualifying format amid ongoing criticism of the current system.
The structure, new for 2016, has been criticised by drivers, teams, officials and fans.
Now FIA president Jean Todt and F1 commercial boss Bernie Ecclestone want to introduce another format that involves combining a driver's two fastest laps. However, the teams think that is too confusing for the audience and plan to vote against it on Thursday.
Boxing
Although Anthony Joshua, 26, has won all of his 15 professional fights by knockout, some observers have suggested that this title bout comes too soon. The Briton disagrees.
“I want this and I’m ready to swim through deep waters to take him out. Every fight could be your last fight but let’s scrap all this 15 fights nonsense and just put two men in the ring together who want it."
Martin has won 23 and drawn one of his 24 fights and beat Vyacheslav Glazkov for the vacant IBF belt in January.

Anthony Joshua and Charles Martin have been trading the usual verbals at their news conference ahead of Saturday's IBF world heavyweight title fight in London.
British challenger Joshua is “not going in there to dance around”, while American Martin is “gonna keep the tide rolling”.
I'm not entirely sure what that means...

Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores wants his team to be less reliant on the goals of strikers Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney.
Ighalo has had a quiet 2016 so far in front of goal and if he or Deeney do not score, Watford rarely do. “I’m not going to put pressure on Ighalo and Deeney,” said Flores.
“The responsibility is the second line – we have players in the midfield on the wing as second strikers; these players need to add goals to the squad and they know perfectly. It’s not enough.”

Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores is taking responsibility for his side’s poor run of form in 2016, with only Crystal Palace having picked up fewer points in the calendar year.
“We got 37 points a long time ago so we have the feeling that everything is done in the league. It’s not a good thought," the Spaniard said. "Also the FA Cup is a distraction. Within the club we talk about the cup. We need to change the mentality.
"The responsibility is that of the coach. I need to transmit well what is the focus and what is the target. We need to be competitive again. I prefer to assume the responsibility."

Tennis
Former US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro said he almost quit tennis after a succession of wrist injuries but still hopes he can regain his former powers.
The Argentine, 27, returned to the tour in February nearly 11 months after undergoing wrist surgery for a third time and despite losing in the third round of Indian Wells third last month, says he is reaching full fitness.
He said: "I was close to quitting tennis. I got frustrated at home and I didn't watch tennis on TV because it was sad for me. Hopefully after my third surgery, the problem is almost fixed and I am here, playing tennis again."
Welshman Ian Woosnam says he cannot understand why he is not in the World Golf Hall of Fame.
