A few more words of wisdom from Claudio Ranieri, who was binned by Greece just 18 months ago after losing at home to the Faroe Islands

"I always thought that sooner or later I would win a league title," the triumphant Leicester boss told Italian state TV Rai. "I'm the same man who was sent away by Greece.

"The only dedication I want to make to everyone is to tell them to believe and give things a try, not only in football but in every area of life."

Khan takes inspiration from Leicesterpublished at 10:27 British Summer Time 3 May 2016

    Boxing

Amir Khan says he will use Leicester's unexpected title triumph as inspiration for his fight against middleweight world champion Canelo Alvarez this weekend.

Khan, a Bolton fan, who recently hinted at a switch to Mixed Martial Arts, said: "I'm seen as the underdog in this fight against Canelo but I feel this is the year of the underdog. What Leicester City have achieved is absolutely amazing.

"I'm definitely going to use that to help me because it shows that even though people say you have no chance what really matters is how you perform on the pitch, or in the boxing ring in my case."
