'Must-win game for Northern Ireland'published at 08:11 British Summer Time 13 June 2016

    Pressure on after Poland defeat

Former Northern Ireland defender Gerry Taggart says the country’s next Euro 2016 group game against Ukraine on Thursday is a “must win” match if they are to qualify for the last 16.

Michael O’Neill’s side lost 1-0 to Poland in their opening Group C game in Nice, their first match at a major tournament in 30 years.

“Ukraine is not going to be an easy game but we have to win that game - at least now we know what we have got to do," Taggart told BBC Radio 5 live.

“The only way Northern Ireland can win a game is by being positive and getting on the front foot.”
