"Yes, we would like to do better but what he's done for Arsenal as a club has been incredible over the years," he tells BBC World Service's Ed Harry.

Wolves boss Paul Lambert urges his side to respond from the midweek home defeat against Wigan when they host Chelsea. "The Wigan game was probably the most disappointing game I've had since I've been here, every other game we've been right on the front foot and we have to get back to that. Even against Newcastle (another 1-0 defeat) I thought we were the better side but we were trying to go about our football and be competitive."

Captain Guy Disney, who rides with a prosthetic leg, steered Rathlin Rose to an emotional success in the Royal Artillery Gold Cup at Sandown on Friday afternoon.

Disney lost his lower right leg after being injured when his vehicle was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade while he was serving in Afghanistan in July 2009.

The David Pipe-trained Rathlin Rose was the 13-8 favourite to provide Disney with his first success at a professional racecurse and he claimed the extended three-mile contest confined to military amateur riders by four and a half lengths from Ardkilly Witness.

Disney, who was third in the race on Ballyallia Man in 2015, said: "To ride a winner here is very, very special. I've been phenomenally lucky, I've been amazingly well looked after since I got injured, people have had it far worse than I have. Some don't make it back."

Wolves boss Paul Lambert with more thoughts on how his side will approach the teatime Cup tie with Antonio Conte's Premier League leaders Chelsea.

"We have to play our way and don't change, we might lose games but we'll be more exciting to watch and we have to take Chelsea out of their comfort zone, we have to match their intensity," he says.

"Chelsea have a great manager, who was a great player himself, he knows the emotions on a football pitch, the feelings players go through and their players will handle it. He has been a breath of fresh air for Chelsea.

"We're going to have to punch above our weight and they're going to have an off day."

A sports editor in Belarus has kept a promise to eat his own newspaper after incorrectly claiming his local ice hockey team Dinamo Minsk would not make it to the play-offs in the Kontinental Hockey League 

Vyacheslav Fedorenkov, who writes for the major Belarusian sports paper Pressball, arrived at Minsk Arena's press centre with a copy of the paper and a bowl of soup to make it more palatable, but ran out of soup so could only consume half of the pages.

The act impressed the team's coach Craig Woodcroft, however, and he said: "I will remember his deed every time I enter this room." 

Scotland number eight Josh Strauss has been ruled out of the rest of the Six Nations campaign through injury.  

Former Manchester City striker Shaun Goater, 46, has been appointed manager, external of Northern League Premier Division side Ilkeston.

Blackburn boss Owen Coyle, preparing for Sunday's big Cup tie with Manchester United at Ewood Park says Hope Akpan should not face further punishment following his dismissal against Sheffield Wednesday.

Akpan was dismissed for pushing referee Scott Duncan and has since been charged with violent conduct by the FA. 

"Hope Akpan did not shove the referee," Coyle insists. "If you look he has his hands outstretched and is saying he scored a perfectly good goal. We accept that you cannot touch the referee and a three-match ban is fair enough but to add to that in my opinion would be wrong.

1968:Jean-Claude Killy of France, one of the greatest skiers of all time, won his third gold medal at the Winter Olympics in Grenoble. Victorious in the downhill, the giant slalom and the slalom, he equalled Toni Sailer's record of winning three gold medals at one Games.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche is full of praise for 38-year-old counterpart Danny Cowley and younger brother Nicky, who were still working as PE teachers in Rayleigh while manager and assistant at Braintree last year before being recruited by the Imps in the close season, 

"They've come out of teaching and done a good job in non-league. They've gone in full-time at Lincoln and are making a good show of it," Dyche said. 

"There are many different pathways into football, there's always the debate on managers' backgrounds, who's played and who hasn't, at different levels, but I don't think there's an exact pathway. 

"It can be helpful if you've played as you have an inside view, particularly when dealing with players, knowing what they're going through, but it's not an absolute prerequisite, which is why football people can go into other businesses and be a success. There are many different ways of being a leader or manager."

Wolves boss Paul Lambert has clearly been assessing the league table as he prepares his side to host Premier League leaders Chelsea in the teatime kick-off tomorrow. "I don't know if they come any tougher than this," he says. 

"Regardless of who Chelsea play, they're international players, they've got a great manager and they've been absolutely brilliant. We've earned the right to have a go at them, nobody expected us to beat Stoke or Liverpool but we'll go with no fear and nothing to lose and do everything we can to try and make it an uncomfortable game for them."

The racers can reach speeds over 100kph, and Britain's Mica McNeill and Mica Moore are seventh fastest after first heat. You can watch heat two now to see how they fare.

Disciplinary proceedings have been opened by Uefa against Saint Etienne following the Europa League Round of 32 match against Manchester United at Old Trafford last night.

The French side's supporters are accused of the setting off of a firework, throwing objects and improper conduct. However, a Uefa panel will not meet to deal with the case until 23 March.

Scotland's Scott Donaldson, 22, is through to the last four at the Welsh Open after a 5-0 win over China's Zhou Yuelong in the first quarter-final.
