Crystal Palace face an injury crisis in defence after James Tomkins suffered a serious ankle injury in the win at Liverpool that could end his season. Fellow centre-back Scott Dann remains sidelined after missing three weeks with a knee ligament problem.

There are no new injury concerns for Tottenham, who have left-back Danny Rose back in training following nearly three months out with ligament damage. Back-up goalkeeper Michel Vorm is recovering from a knee injury and could return in May.

Middlesbrough will be without forward Gaston Ramirez, who is banned after being sent off in the 4-0 defeat by Bournemouth. Midfielders Marten de Roon and Grant Leadbitter are in contention following respective ankle and hamstring problems, but goalkeeper Victor Valdes is sidelined.

Sunderland striker Duncan Watmore may need a second knee operation after suffering discomfort on returning to light training after five months out. Midfielder Sebastian Larsson is suspended but right-back Billy Jones should be fit to return.

He saved himself in the last frame, but Ronnie O'Sullivan is now out of the World Snooker Championship.

The five-time world champion has been beaten 13-10 by China's Ding Junhui, who goes on to play Mark Selby in the semi-finals in a repeat of last year's final, which Selby won.

Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could feature despite being on crutches immediately after Sunday's FA Cup semi-final win over Manchester City at Wembley. He took a kick to the foot but Arsene Wenger said it was just a "precautionary" measure.

Leicester captain Wes Morgan is out with a hamstring injury while defensive midfielder Nampalys Mendy's season is over following an ankle operation. Centre-half Robert Huth is back after a Champions League ban, but striker Islam Slimani remains sidelined with a groin injury.

There are three Premier League matches tonight, so time for some team news.

It looked all over for Ronnie O'Sullivan.

He was 63-0 down facing a quarter-final exit at the hands of Ding Junhui before the Chinese player missed a potentially match-winning red, before O'Sullivan kept his hopes alive with a 73 clearance to win the frame on the black ball.

He still trails 12-10, with the first to 13 facing reigning world champion Mark Selby in the semi-finals.

It will be fascinating to see what impact Spurs' semi-final defeat to title rivals Chelsea will have on the remainder of their Premier League campaign.

To play so well and still lose at Wembley would have been a very bitter pill to swallow.

So a trip to Selhurst Park is the first litmus test - hardly the ideal pick-me-up.

Sam Allardyce speculated after winning at Anfield on Sunday that his Palace team would be top of a form table. He's close, but over the last two months Palace's points haul of 19 would put them second, two points short of - guess who - Spurs!

Nevertheless Palace's results have been sensational and have all but ensured a fifth successive top-flight season for the first time.

Ronnie O'Sullivan makes an "absolutely incredible" break of 146, the highest of the World Championship so far in his quarter-final match with Ding Junhui.

Pride would always be top of the list when Teesside meets Wearside, but given the current predicaments of both Middlesbrough and Sunderland, it takes on even greater significance in this fixture.

Both need the greatest of great escapes to stay in the Premier League, but even going down fighting is looking less and less likely.

Middlesbrough have struggled for goals and still haven't won in 2017. Their win at the Stadium of Light back in August must seem like a distant memory.

Meanwhile, Sunderland's over-reliance on Jermain Defoe was always going to catch up with them, and he's now gone eight games without a goal.

A derby win for either would - at least in the short term - lift some rock-bottom spirits.

I love that picture of Arsene Wenger celebrating at the weekend as his team beat Manchester City at Wembley - an intense release of joy and relief and a rare moment for him to truly enjoy in a turbulent campaign.

Wenger's reorganised defensive strategy seems to be working and a rejuvenated Arsenal will be put to the test both here and in the North London derby at the weekend.

Leicester haven't won any of the last 20 league meetings against the Gunners but have won five of the last seven league matches under Craig Shakespeare, and are more than capable of making a game of this encounter.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's fitness is more important than resolving his Manchester United future, says boss Jose Mourinho.

"I just want the difficult surgery to go, for him to recover from the injury and prepare for the next step," said Mourinho.

"I think the next step will be something that he really wants, which is what I was saying before the injury in the period of doubt about his future."

Before the Tees-Wear derby, Middlesbrough boss Steve Agnew feels his side's recent form has been a "massive disappointment" while Sunderland manager David Moyes thinks a win can be the "first part" of survival.

Sunderland are bottom of the Premier League, with Middlesbrough one place above them in the table.

Ronnie O'Sullivan potted 13 reds and 12 blacks and was on course for a maximum 147 break before he opted to play for the pink on his way to a 146 clearance.

O'Sullivan is still on course for a £10,000 prize for the highest break of the tournament, but missed out on a £5,000 bonus that he would have got for a 147.

He is still 11-9 behind China's Ding Junhui, with the first to 13 moving into the semi-finals.

Manchester United are within touching distance of the Premier League's top four, but their 55-game season has stretched their squad to its limits.

With top goalscorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic and defender Marcos Rojo ruled out with knee ligament injuries, the world's most expensive player Paul Pogba will also miss tomorrow's Manchester derby against City. The £89m signing hobbled off just before the end of Sunday's win at Burnley and was spotted limping afterwards. 

Pogba' absence makes Jose Mourinho's task more difficult against his old foe Pep Guardiola but he refused to accept that finishing above the former Barcelona boss would give him any satisfaction, instead citing Champions League football is the aim. 

Mourinho also refused to confirm if Ibrahimovic will be at Old Trafford next season after his knee injury, saying it is a waste of time to talk about the Swede's future so soon after the injury. He did say he wants his players to be happy, and wherever Ibrahimovic is next season will be where the forward wants to be.
