Alex: Lads holiday in Magaluf, pretended that I was James ward, British tennis player (actually looked a bit like him and was his height). So I'm trying to impress these Scottish girls that I'm mates Andy Murray and even pretended to call in front of them. After, not thinking either of them would have a clue about tennis they said shouldn't you be playing at queens! Said I'd faked an injury to go away with the boys week before Wimbledon! They bought it and I'm sure Wardy had a few extra fans!

An absolutely stunning, potentially career-defining, win for Simona Halep over Elina Svitolina. The Romanian third seed and favourite appeared set to miss out once again on a first Grand Slam title as she was overpowered by Ukraine's Svitolina for an hour-and-a-half.
However, Halep saved a match point and powered through the final set like a champion in waiting, with the world number one ranking also there for the taking if she wins the title.
French Open
Simona Halep is battling back in style against Elina Svitolina.
The Romanian fought off match point in the second set and won the tie-break.
She's now 4-0 to the good in the decider against the Ukranian fifth seed.
Gossip
Another goalkeeper has entered the frame to be Real Madrid's number one next season.
Marca, external says AC Milan's teenage sensation Gianluigi Donnarumma has been offered to the European Champions.
Tennis
Second seed Karolina Pliskova is through to the semi-finals of the French Open. The Czech beat France's Caroline Garcia 7-6 (7-3) 6-4 in the last eight.
Pliskova has yet to win a grand slam, although she has reached the final of the US Open and quarter-finals in Australia in her last two.
Brighton midfielder Steve Sidwell signs a new one-year contract with the newly-promoted Premier League club.
Sidwell made 34 league appearances last season as the Seagulls returned to the top flight after a 34-year absence.
The 34-year-old joined Brighton on an initial loan deal from Stoke in January 2016, before joining the club on a free transfer ahead of last season.

She was 5-1 down in the set and fought back to win it on a tie-break, fighting off a match point for her opponent Elina Svitolina in the process.
It is now level at a set apiece. It's anyone's game now.
