Julian from Stoke: About 20 years ago my mate drove me to Notts Forest to watch Stoke City play, as I had broken my leg and was in plaster. We didn't have tickets and I thought we could blag our way in!At the main entrance Stoke's captain, Vince Overson, said "hello Julian, how's it going" ( I knew him socially!) after he'd gone in I told the doorman, who had seen me talking to Vince, that I was the captain of Stoke reserves and had broken my leg from a bad tackle at Swindon! We sat in the Directors Box for the game and had a buffet and drinks at half time! Cheers Notts Forest!

Nick: At the end of a night out in Magaluf back in 2011, a few random lads started calling me Tom Daley, presumably because I looked like him. A man (50 ish) came up to me and asked for if I was really Tom Daley, I decided to play along and said yes. I was waiting for a 14" pizza and it was around 5am when the man rang his wife and explained that he was with Tom Daley. I spoke to her briefly then the man got down on his knee and called me an inspiration. At this point, I didn't have the heart to tell him that I wasn't really Tom Daley so I posed for a photo, grabbed my pizza then said I was going for a swim.

Anonymous: Chatting to Yousef Chippo and Moustapha Hadji in a Southampton nightclub when 3 very attractive girls approached the 2 PL stars and I quickly dipped into my Champ Manager and pretended to be John Eustace - at the time a Cov youth team player and teammate of Chippo, who played along beautifully. Enjoyable evening but wasn't worth the slap I received a week later when my con unravelled.
