    After losing 1-0 to Egypt last Friday, Senegal managed to score an early goal from a terrible mistake from the Egyptian side.

    After a free kick Egypt’s Trezeguet ended up losing possession allowing Sengal’s Boulaye Dia to pick up the ball before slotting it into the back of the net with just three minutes on the clock.

    The first half was intense and Senegal succeeded in controlling the tempo of the game while Egypt hasn’t created chances to score.

    Both sides have to score in order to avoid the tension of a penalty shoot-out.

    Boulaye Dia's fourth-minute opener levelled this tie in front of a passionate Senegalese crowd.

    Egypt have had to soak up plenty of pressure, and have had two defenders forced off injured.

    It's been a stop-start affair but the hosts had the better of the half, with Edouard Mendy rarely troubled.

    We're still no closer to finding out who'll be heading to Qatar. This one could yet go the distance...

    Advantage Ghana as the Black Stars grab a vital away goal early on in Abuja.

    The visitors went ahead through Thomas Partey's shot and a blunder from goalkeeper Francis Ozuhu.

    But Nigeria got back in the game after a foul on Ademola Lookman, and which William Troost-Ekong converted.

    The Super Eagles thought they had a second goal through Victor Osimhen, but his strike was ruled out for offisde.

    Ghanaian fans are celebrating the score line at the interval, but need to hang on to reach the World Cup.
