    I think I've aged about 20 years! Do not do that to us Laura Weightman! She is relieved. She had no idea what the young German was doing there but Hassan is looking like the champion elect - she looked so good there.

    The two Laura both have chances to snatch a medal though - it'll be down to a last-lap sprint.

    The second semi-final includes the Netherlands' Sifan Hassan - proud owner of the three fastest times in the world this year - alongside Britons Laura Weightman and Sarah McDonald.

    Kenya's Winny Chebet and Germany's Konstanze Klosterhalfen are the two women in the race other than Hassan to have dipped inside four minutes this season.
