Not vintage Gatlin. But he's through. He's already the oldest winner of this title...
Confirmation - Adam Gemili is OUT, Justin Gatlin is THROUGH.
We're still waiting for the times for third and fourth. Must be close!
Hughes ran 10.05.
Well run Zharnel Hughes! He's second behind Akani Simbine to qualify.
What's the time situation?
Mens' 100m
Zharnel Hughes has ran 9.95 this season. He could do with matching that. He looked slick yesterday.
Men's 100m
Less than one tenth of a second separates seven of the athletes in this semi-final, going by their season bests. European champion Zharnel Hughes (lane 4) is third on that list behind Commonwealth champion Akani Simbine (lane 6) and Ivorian Arthur Cisse (lane 8).
Justin Gatlin needs the man in fourth in this semi to be slower than 10.09...

At the moment that means Gatlin and Gemili hang on to the fastest loser spots with one more race to come.
Adam Gemili is edged out of the automatic two spots by one hundredth of a second. This image captures the moment Canada's Aaron Brown saw he had beaten the Brit into second.
He could still edge through as one of two fastest losers from the three heats but he is not confident.
"I don't think 10.13 will be good enough," Gemili says. "No excuses really, I don't think I executed the race I could have. I could get lucky but that wasn't good enough or a world champs. It's sport, you have to execute in these moments and today I didn't. This was very open and I am gutted I let an opportunity like that go past. Annoying, very disappointing."
That was tight! Andre de Grasse wins it in 10.07!
Yohan Blake is second, Justin Gatlin third.
Gatlin not definitely through then...
Here we go then...
Justin Gatlin is 37 years of age. He's ran 9.87 this season. I'm 35 and my back hurts from sitting down in this chair.
Men's 100m
Here's the line-up
Men's 100m semis
A stacked semi.
British champion Ojie Edoborun is in lane 2 but look to the middle lanes for the likely finalists. Reigning champion Justin Gatlin is in lane 5, with 2011 gold medallist Yohan Blake in lane 4 and Rio Olympic medallist Andre De Grasse in lane 7.
Honest from Adam Gemili - 'That wasn't good enough.'

Look at the distance Coleman puts between himself and the world-class field. I think it just sends a message that no one here is going to be able to run with him.
