Tiffany Porter finished that one in 12.78 seconds. It is a good season's best for second-placed Alicia Barrett, but her 13.18 is outside the Olympic standard of 12.84.

The kids are more than alright.

Oliver Dustin, European junor champion and now 20 years old, came very close to snatching the men's 800m race after Keely Hodgkinson's heist of the women's.

Another five metres and I think Elliot Giles was toast.

Perhaps the best of the youngsters, Max Burgin, 19, missed this year's championships through injury.

The future's as bright as Dustin's orange vest.
