Some interesting mind games at the end of the ninth. Spence is shown grinning at his corner, while Brook raises his arm in defiance. He gets a cheer.

Round nine and Kell Brook has to get the tape around his gloves sorted out. It gives him a bit of a breather, but does highlight how much the left eye is swelling up.

    Round 8: Brook v Spence

Liam Smith has Brook ahead by one, and we could well be heading to the judges scorecards the way this is going.

Lefts to the head have been a successful outlet from Spence and they continue to be in the eighth.

To make things worse for Brook, there is some swelling around his left eye. He damaged his right eye in the loss to Gennady Golovkin, so at least it is not the same problem.

"You're in front" trainer Dominic Ingle tells Brook. He may well be, but not by much, if at all.

    Round 7: Brook v Spence

Another incredibly tight round. All of them bar one has been that way. Spence has not been here before from now on, Kell has.

    Round 7: Brook v Spence

A left hook from Spence gives Brook something to think about. It is a bit ragged, a bit rough in the seventh as the energy tanks from both fighters are deteriorating.

Brook has had to drop down two weight divisions from his unsuccessful attempt against Gennady Golovkin, however, Brook took part in an intensive 12-week training camp in Fuerteventura to ensure his fitness was at the highest level possible.
