  2. Webb loses to Allen in first professional defeatpublished at 22:24 British Summer Time 28 July 2018

Dave Allen beats Nick Webb with fourth-round knockout

Heavyweight Dave Allen gained a career-saving win as he inflicted the first defeat of Nick Webb's career.

Webb, who had won his first 12 professional bouts, was on top before Allen produced a stunning punch to knock him out in the last few moments of the fourth round.

Allen, known as the white Rhino, lost to France's Tony Yoka last month, only took this fight with Webb on a week's notice and said he would quit boxing if he lost.

"That was a life-changing moment," said an emotional Allen. "I've been thinking 'is boxing for me?' I'm never going to be world champion but I know I can compete at this level. July 28th, 2018 is the greatest day of my life ever."

Earlier tonight, Commonwealth Games gold medallist Anthony Fowler maintained his unbeaten professional record with a stunning knockout of previously-undefeated Craig O'Brien.

Liverpool-born Fowler, who won middleweight gold at Glasgow 2014, produced a stunning left hook in the opening seconds of the sixth round in this light-middleweight bout to extend his record to seven wins from seven contests, with six successes inside the distance.

"It was a lovely shot, I knew it would come," said Fowler, the cousin of former England striker Robbie. "My stamina issues have gone and I got my range and got him out of there. I want to step up now and show what I'm about."

    Breaking

Referee Howard Foster does not even count this time. He waves it off. CHISORA WINS.

Dereck Chisora looked finished, he was well down on the judges scorecards and then out of nowhere after having to soak up so, so, so much punishment over the previous seven rounds, shows the bravery, the heart, the spirit, the character of a champion.

Incredible. I said one punch can change it. And Dereck Chisora has just found it. A big overhand right, and the Frenchman is down!

Round 7: Dereck Chisora v Carlos Takam

Chisora, once more, has just been forced back on to the ropes. But still manages to counter at times and land. Takam has put his foot down on the accelerator these last two rounds, but Chisora is still in there and in heavyweight boxing everything can change with one punch, and Chisora is still swinging.

A good left hook from Chisora finds the face of Takam. Great heart from Del Boy. He has looked out, he has looked finished, but he has not caved in yet.
