Helles Mammut: After 6 rounds I have Povetkin up by 2... Joshua needs to be more active, he is playing into the hand of his opponent...

Halfway. For what it's worth I have it level. Six rounds to go. "He's blowing, he's blowing," is being screamed at Joshua.

Is the Povetkin energy tank running dry?

  7. 'Joshua more consistent shots'published at 22:42 British Summer Time 22 September 2018

Both men landing solid shots but Joshua more consistent. A sporting touch at the start of the round when they tapped gloves to show there is a tonne of respect flowing both ways.

Round 6: Anthony Joshua v Alexander Povetkin

Povetkin thinks he can win this. He seems to be gaining confidence a jumping left hook is deflected but still lands. He has had decent moments in every round.

Round 6: Anthony Joshua v Alexander Povetkin

A crank up in volume means success for Joshua. Klitschko put Povetkin down four times in their contest. No sign of that yet from Joshua, but one punch can always change everything.

Into round six. A tough night's work from Joshua. He may well be behind in this one. But if he is it is only close.

  12. 'Joshua not overly worried'published at 22:38 British Summer Time 22 September 2018

Povetkin enjoyed success there with the kind of punches he has been throwing all his career. Joshua though did not look overly worried.

Round 5: Anthony Joshua v Alexander Povetkin

One of those hard-to-call rounds, but Povetkin did land with another decent overhand right. Maybe that will have caught the judges' eyes.

Scott Mackey: Joshua thinking that Povetkin is the easier fight than Wilder when it is the complete opposite. Povetkin dangerous and clever whereas Wilder would have played onto Joshua's gameplay. Povetkin in the 9th.

Neil Sewell: Joshua needs to start reacting to this. He’s been in trouble before but come through using patience. No need to panic just yet.

The Povetkin corner seem to have done a good job on that cut. Can Joshua get it bleeding again?

  16. Is Joshua taking control?published at 22:34 British Summer Time 22 September 2018

    Mike Costello
BBC Sport boxing correspondent at Wembley Stadium

We are seeing why Joshua is such a draw. He carries great power but has vulnerabilities too. But he seemed more in control in that round that at any stage so far.

Is that cut going to be a defining factor in this fight. Work for the Povetkin corner to do, and quick. I have that two rounds apiece.
