Scott Cardle just walked past clutching a foam roller. He was stopped by Ricky Burns a little earlier.

To say Cardle has a swelling on his left eye would be a colossal understatement. A huge shiner!

Don’t try foam rolling your eye lid, Scott!

Peter Shields: Nobody should ever underestimate Tony Bellew. He has a great boxing brain and hits very hard. He has climbed some impossible looking mountains in his career and never ducks a fight ... and though Usyk is definitely his Everest, I sincerely hope he reaches the summit.

Mark Blow: if Anthony Crolla wins and gets a shot of Lomachenko he has as much chance as me of winning. I'm 5'2, four stone overweight and not very fit.

Emma and Rachel have come all the way from West Bromwich and Watford respectively.

Emma, on the left, is something of a regular at fight nights as she’s been to see all the names - Haye, Groves, Joshua, Bellew too. She says she wants a Bellew stoppage but thinks Usyk may be too strong.

Rachel, more of a newbie, simply says Bellew will find a way.

Manchester Arena is a touch beige from the outside but when you get in, steep seating makes this a real cauldron of noise.

And what’s absolutely tremendous tonight is there’s no sections getting curtained off as the seats haven’t sold. A packed house guarantees a brilliant soundtrack for the drama in the ring.
