Dennis Hall: A Ruckus in Riyadh
Joshua v Ruiz
Thunderous right-hander to the body from Andy Ruiz Jr, just picking his spot there after hanging Anthony Joshua's left arm up. Joshua tickles a jab into the mouth of the Mexican charge, and follows it up with another that Ruiz fails to defend.
Joshua struts towards his corner looking confident.
Joshua v Ruiz
Two to go...
Andy Ruiz Jr wheels over a right and then goes hunting as Anthony Joshua continues to move - AJ responds with a jab before having to skip away from an overarm right from the champion.

Measured. Calm.
I think his movement is excellent and he is moving around Ruiz. The Mexican has to really go for it.
His corner have to be telling him that he is well behind and he has to knock him out in the next two rounds.

Joshua v Ruiz
Anthony Joshua, looking so much leaner than we've seen him, continues to bound around on the canvas, making Andy Ruiz Jr stop, swivel and size him up from another angle. Is the champion starting to blow?
Joshua v Ruiz
Anthony Joshua wriggles a left glove through the California-born fighter's guard, and dips away to avoid a counter. Andy Ruiz Jr slows down, before quickening the pace with a fiery right into the side of Joshua's gloves.
Joshua v Ruiz
An unorthodox left from Ruiz as he dangles it towards AJ, who backs up and pads it away from danger. Joshua looks for a route through with a left of his own but it's caught by the gloves of the champion.
Round nine
Steve Bunce
BBC Radio 5 Live boxing pundit at Diriyah Arena
AJ has got back on top and I knew he was going to let those shots go. He would be a disgraceful poker player because you saw him relax.
He is starting to fancy it and I think it is a bad thing. I want him to keep that fear for another nine minutes.
I've got it seven rounds to Joshua and two to Ruiz.

Joshua v Ruiz
Now Joshua is smiling as he catches the champion, the cut above Ruiz's eye bursts open once more and blood is trickling down his left cheek.
Joshua v Ruiz
A couple of quickfire hooks from Ruiz slide past Joshua as he continues to bound around, looking full of energy, AJ flings a left jab of his own and then looks low - Ruiz reels him in like a world title-challenging yo yo and stems the attack from Joshua.
Joshua v Ruiz
That cut above Andy Ruiz Jr's left eye is opening up after almost every round. It's glued shut once more and he goes looking for Anthony Joshua once more.
Joshua crabs his way around the outside of the ring, trying to pick his moment, but Ruiz is prowling and waiting to unleash.
Round eight
Richie Woodhall
Former world champion at Diriyah Arena for BBC Radio 5 Live
That is the first round you can clearly give to Ruiz. There were signs of frustration from both boxers.
AJ was not happy and he has got to watch what he is doing, he wanted to have a bit of a scrap and that is what Ruiz wants.

Joshua v Ruiz
Joshua rides that flurry out but comes in too close and Ruiz pounces with another rapid combo. Joshua smiles as the bell goes, but the champion had AJ rattled a little towards the end of that round.
Joshua v Ruiz
Another Ruiz boomer lands on the top of Joshua's head and the Brit looks furious - he was almost offering the champion out of the ropes there... see you in the car park.
But here comes the Ruiz with speed and precision, worrying Joshua for a moment as the crowd begin to roar in Riyadh.
Joshua v Ruiz
Andy Ruiz Jr looks to pepper the body of Anthony Joshua, tendering up those left ribs of the challenger. AJ does well to wheel away and find that distance again, using his jab to keep beyond the Mexican-American's range.
Richie Woodhall
Former world champion at Diriyah Arena for BBC Radio 5 Live
AJ is way out in front here and he is cruising. He cannot get complacent and he has to keep listening to his coach. Plain and simple.
