Kris: Usyk looks like a proper champion, a fight against Fury could be spellbinding.
Christian: Does AJ go for the rematch and embarrass himself? Or just make his money on undercards?
Come on Christian. He lost, but AJ wasn't embarrassed. He lost to one of the best pound for pound fighters in the world.

We were expecting more, we wanted more.
Why didn't he just have a go? Because even in the last five or six rounds he wasn't letting the right hand go.
The body shots were good, but they wasn't part of what he was trying to do.
So where next for Anthony Joshua? This is not the first time he has lost his belts, being beaten by Andy Ruiz in New York in June 2019 but Joshua regained the titles six months later in the rematch in Saudi Arabia.
Joshua has now won 24 and lost two, while Usyk's record remains a perfect won - 19 fights, 19 victories.
New heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk told Sky Sports Box Office: "This means a lot for me. The fight went the way I expected it to go. There were moments when Anthony pushed me hard but it was nothing special.
"I had no objective to knock him out because my corner pushed me not to do that. In the beginning, I tried to hit him hard, but then I stuck to my job.
"The only thing I wanted to do with this fight is to give praise to Jesus Christ.
"I have been working so hard since January in preparation for this fight, it took me half a year and I didn't see my family for so long. I missed seeing them playing. I want to go home and be happy with my family and I'm not thinking about the rematch."

When Joshua and his team watch that back they will feel disappointed. But when you are in the ring and when you watch it back they are two different things.
When you watch stuff back, when you go back to your changing room a loser, Joshua will be disappointed he didn't start faster because that is why he couldn't turn the screw.

I said if Joshua tried to box he was always going to lose. If he had to come out and bully him and push the pace and let his hands go he could have knocked him out in the first even round.
But he came out and was being too negative he seemed like a gun shy fighter. You are the bigger man, have a go.
I don't know, he lacked ambition in the ring there tonight.
The first round, Usyk landed the first strong blow and Joshua was a negative fighter. He got tagged with a left and he was worried the whole time.

It was a boxing match, it has gone Usyk's way and it was a performance of historic proportions.
He becomes just the third cruserweight to become the heavyweight champion of the world with Evander Holyfield and David Haye.

We always knew Usyk could outbox Joshua and beat him on points, but I don't think anyone knew he could do it in such a manner.
He outboxed him and then started to beat him up when he didn't need to. It was a fight at the end, one that Usyk was in control of. He deserves every credit.
Joshua did his part, he tried to box with him and work the body but it wasn't good enough.
Oleksandr Usyk, who held all the belts at cruiserweight, now has four belts at heavyweight.
Usyk was in tears when the decision was announced. It was a superb performance from the Ukrainian.
And Ukraine, who ruled the heavyweight world for so long with the Klitschko brothers, have another world champion in the heavyweight division.

You see Anthony Joshua, he looks disconnected. Eddie Hearn didn't know where to put his eyes. For 22 seconds AJ was by himself. There will be no interviews with AJ tomorrow or this evening.
There is a rematch clause in the contract so Anthony Joshua, if he wants it, will have an instant chance to get his belts back.
Oleksandr Usyk is the new WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO world champion.
He wins it on points.
Anthony Joshua is beaten.
The scores are 117-112, 116-112, 115-113. Unanimous decision for Usyk.

Every single round of the last four or five, Usyk chased and pushed to ensure to win.

Ben: Joshua has failed tonight, and I don’t think will return like he did against Ruiz. The boxing fairytale won’t happen now. Fury to unite them all
Oleksandr Usyk is blowing kisses to the crowd. He has very much the look of someone who thinks he has got this in the bag.
Ronald McIntosh

Usyk has surely, surely just produced a performance that has seen him ascend to the unified heavyweight championship of the world.
We go to the judges. Who has won this? Oleksandr Usyk thinks he has done enough.
He nearly knocked Anthony Joshua out in the 12th. Joshua needed a strong last round, but was perhaps saved by the final bell.
