I thought it was a decent round for Joshua. Usyk was blowing heavier than he has done the whole fight.
Round 8
The Joshua right hand is trying to batter its way under the Usyk elbow and into the ribs.
Usyk may well be winning this still, but Joshua's best rounds have come in the last four.

Joshua may have to start taking some risks. He lands with a right and that's a good start. He's now mixing it up with a good shot to the body and a straight right rocks Usyk back a bit, but not as dramatically as Joshua was rocked a round earlier.

At the start of that round Usyk changed the way he was throwing his punches. He was throwing punches to hurt Joshua not just to win points.
Into the eighth. Great fight so far. This could go either way.

That left that rocked Joshua left him off balance, but he stayed up and Usyk was too far away to land with a follow-up.

A straight counter right from Joshua, but wait just a minute, a left hook from Usyk and Joshua wobbles backwards. The champ is in trouble.

Joshua got closer there and he was forcing Usyk to make one or two mistakes. He overcommitted and got caught with a big right hand.
Joshua is in the middle of the ring in the sixth, trying to pressure Usyk and it is a beautiful straight right hand to the Usyk chin.
That was a gorgeous shot, that one hurt him, but didn't send Usyk down.
If you're looking for a turning point, you may have just got one. I've got Joshua winning both the last two.
