Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn on Radio 5 Live: "Mairis Briedis was dressed as a Mario brother but we just want to see the fight.
"Okolie will move to heavyweight - you will see him at 16 stone plus - but with his ability he can win all the belts in this division and I'd like to see him do that before he makes the move to heavyweight.
"He had to rough it out tonight, it was ugly against a very tough opponent but that's very good experience in the bank for him and now it's time to move on to unification fights."
Lawrence Okolie on Radio 5 Live: "It was a flat performance and I allowed it to get messy. It was difficult to push him off and it felt hard.
"I've boxed in big crowds but this was difficult in a big arena against a top five boxer.
"This was one of these days when it was awkward because the guy was physically strong.
"I have to work on the mentality that it doesn't have to be perfect but I go back to the gym, go again and make it right the next time."

He's still learning but he showed good stamina although he didn't show good variety. He took some good shots but more than that it was a really hard 36 minutes. You can't buy that experience - it's a priceless 36 minutes.
Mairis Briedis then comes ringside in his Super Mario attire - which would provide an incredibly confusing image for anyone who happened to just pop the coverage on.
"Congratulations from me," he tells DAZN. "I hope you feel very good because too many punches to here [back of the head].
"I hope after Australia we make this full arena."
Mairis Briedis is here and dressed as Super Mario in response to being called "Mario" by YouTube personality Jake Paul.
Asked if he wanted to face Briedis next, Lawerence Okolie says: "He looks like a clown and I will show him that."
Lawrence Okolie, speaking to DAZN: "I think it is good to get that learning under my belt. He is a top competitor and pushed the pace. A good 12 rounds.
"The right hand he was tucking under it very well. I was trying to find the different angles to get it but he was coming back with left hooks. I will see what I can work on going forward.
"I thought when I dropped him in the fifth I had closed the show but he has a lot of supporters and at this level you can't just close straight away.
"As much as I am focused it is difficult to pick myself for certain fights up when looking for unifications."

Chris: Not the best of fights but got the win.
William: Very very very messy. Poor timing and reckless at times!

Okolie won't look back on this with a big smile on his face. There are so many improvements he can make. Because of his size and punch power they are difficult to watch when fights go this way. He's one of the most entertaining fighters we have because of his punch power and the way he can fight, but he didn't quite get that power off tonight.
It wasn't pretty but Lawrence Okolie wins by unanimous decision.
Lawrence Okolie v Michal Cieslak
Another big right hand by Okolie has Cieslak staggering in the opening seconds of the round.
Okolie goes in aggressively as he looks to get this done in style. He wants the knockout but is risking getting caught on the counter here.
Only each other's bodies are keeping them on their feet as the two tired fights grapple going into the final minute of the fight.
A right hand from Cieslak does get through before the bell. It's going to be Okolie's fight but he's been taken the distance.

One punch can turn everything on its head.
George Groves
Former super-middleweight world champion on BBC Radio 5 Live
It's tough to watch, it's scrappy, and neither fighter is doing much to avoid this happening.
Lawrence Okolie v Michal Cieslak
Into the final round we go.
Lawrence Okolie v Michal Cieslak
Into the penultimate round, a round dominated once again by more holding. Cieslak gets in a few hits to the back of the head as the two grapple before the referee pulls them apart.
The Polish fans roar on their man once again as Okolie gets a left-hand jab through towards the end of the 11th round.
Round 10
George Groves
Former super-middleweight world champion on BBC Radio 5 Live
Cieslak has a little nick under his eye now. Okolie got a thunderous right hand in and straight away a right hand to the body. From upstairs to downstairs. A very good round and if he can continue that I'd expect more big shots to go in.
Lawrence Okolie v Michal Cieslak
Are we going the distance? It didn't look likely after that storming first round but looking like being the case now.
A good long range right hand from Okolie does get through before he connects with one to the body.
Cieslak's not moving as well as he had previously after taking some heavy shots in that round.
Round 9
Steve Bunce
Boxing expert on BBC Radio 5 Live
I would like to see Okolie move his feet, just one step to the left or right to get a bit of variety in his shots.
Lawrence Okolie v Michal Cieslak
This is the longest distance Okolie has been taken in his world title fights. Okolie is desperate to find the opportunities, get that right hand going and he works the distance.
He lands a nice right hand and then follows up with the left hook. He's using the range well but does walk into a left hook towards the end of the round.
A cleaner round, but still some grappling.
Round 8
George Groves
Former super-middleweight world champion on BBC Radio 5 Live
Shane McGuigan is telling Okolie to up his energy levels and speed up because his attacks are not starting quick enough and he ends up wrestling.
