Another solid Warrington jab finds Martinez's face early in the fifth round. Hope he doesn't have to have a new passport photo taken tomorrow.

The Leeds Warrior continues to pick his moments with the jab, there is a left-right but it's not goodnight.

Then, a right hand is countered reciprocally by the Spaniard. Another cracking round in a cracking fight.

Blimey. Martinez has cuts above both eyes now. The doc appears in his corner and has a concerned look.

How can the Spaniard survive another eight rounds like this? I can't see it happening (pardon the pun).

Warrington grunts as he pounds away at Martinez, who is stuck to the ropes like a stag to a lamppost on his big night out.

But, like the fella waving goodbye to singledom, he ain't planning to go home early.

A couple of quick upper cuts tell Warrington that he's still here and present.

Josh is worrying about flowing too much and putting too much [energy] in. That was an easier round but another he won.

"No lazy jabs! No lazy jabs!"

That's advice from the Warrington corner as the pair bound out for the fourth of the scheduled 12 rounds.

Is expending so much energy early on going to have an impact on Warrington?

The tempo, understandably, drops, after that high-octane start.

Warrington patiently biding his time as Martinez stoically grafts, despite having blood and energy sapped at a quick rate.

Martinez might need a pharmacy's worth of Vaseline at this rate. Plenty scrubbed over the Spaniard's cut eye.

Warrington steps back a touch at the start of the third, sitting behind his jab more.

Blimey. There is about 20 seconds for us - and the boxers - to breathe midway through the round before they trade blows again.

Warrington has Martinez backed on the ropes but the Spaniard digs deep.

"That right hook can't miss," dad tells lad in the Warrington corner. "Round here, get it off."

Carl Frampton: “Josh has cut Kiko very, very badly. A fantastic start for Josh.”

Warrington sniffs blood - and sees it - and goes on the offensive straight away in the second.

This is the boxing equivalent of Bielsa-ball. Bueno.

Martinez buys himself some time with some naughty stuff. Boy, does he need it.

Blood streams down the Spaniard's face after Warrington opens up a cut on the left eye.

He gets through to the bell, after which he throws a late punch. Warrington not impressed.

OMG. Incredible stuff from Warrington. Serious punishment being dished out.

This could be done within three minutes!!

Martinez already on the ropes. A shakier start than the last Spaniard called Kiko who turned up in Leeds...

Warrington stands his ground early doors, laying out a barrage of punches as he looks to stamp his authority. Strong start.

"The fight starts nowwwwww!" roars the ringmaster.

He's right. Ding, ding, it's show-time folks.

Adrenalin and goosebumps in equal supply in the ring and the stands.

Their first fight was very close. I scored it a round to Josh Warrington, but it was a very close fight. This time I would edge towards Josh Warrington again.
