    The crowd is responding to this upping of the tempo by Golovkin as he opens with a good left hook. He is finding his range and Canelo is finally being worked.

    However, a left-hand punch by Canelo connects with the body and Golovkin clears feels that as he shuffles back.

    Golovkin lands a triple jab and there's some signs of fatigue from Canelo now.

    A much more spirited round by Golovkin, finally, as he goes on the offence straight from the off.

    Canelo lands the first telling punch of the round with a right hand that rocks Golovkin's head.

    But a great response by Golovkin as he connects with a right hand, left hook and then another good right hook in the final few seconds of the round.

    It has taken a while, but at last a response from Golovkin. Better.

    Canelo takes a breather and puts his gloves up to his face to let Golovkin take the attacking initiative, but once again none of the punches have any weight.

    A minute to go and Canelo opens up again, landing a three-shot combination. A solid uppercut from Golovkin in response but Canelo comes back with a strong right hand, left hook.

    A bit better from Golovkin, but another round for Canelo.

    Golovkin knows he is not right. He is going to the corner and I don't think he is working out ways to win, he is working out ways to get through each round.

    We've passed the halfway point with Canelo looking very comfortable.

    Golovkin needs to be much better in the second half of this fight but once again it is Canelo who makes the brighter start to this round, showing much more aggression and intent.

    Golovkin lands a left jab but Canelo counters it with the same shot before glancing Golovkin's chin with an uppercut.

    Into the final 10 seconds and Canelo finishes with a double jab to the body as he takes another round.

    Cruise control for Canelo.

    Golovkin tries to change the tempo of this fight as he gets in close but Canelo is reading anything his opponent's attempts well.

    A right hand by Golovkin does land but Canelo looks unflustered before the Mexican connects with a powerful uppercut.

    A better, more positive round by Golovkin but it still goes Canelo's way.

    Canelo is on the front foot and really turning the screw now as he launches in with a quick double jab early in round five.

    Golovkin tries something with a jab but it bounces off Canelo, there's just no power behind the few punches he throws.

    Into the final few seconds and Canelo lands the best punch of the night with an overhand looping right that rattles Golovkin's chin.

    Golovkin is up against it.

    Golovkin needs to show more after being on the back foot in the third round and he kicks this one off with a left jab followed by a hook.

    The Kazakh's defence looked really good in the first couple of rounds but it is a bit more laboured now and Canelo's attacks are finding their target as the round continues.

    Canelo is completing dictating this fight now, choosing when to attack and when to defence.

    Canelo is stepping things up a bit now and putting the pressure on Golovkin with some really good work in the first minute of this third round.

    Golovkin is staying on the defence, waiting for his opportunity but he leaves an opening and Canelo immediately attacks, getting a quick double jab in.

    Canelo by the far busiest of the two and the clearest round so far goes the Mexican's way.

    Canelo lands the first real punch of the fight so far with a long, left hook early in round two.

    Golovkin responds with a solid jab and there's a bit more intent being shown now.

    Canelo gets through with another good punch that reddens Golovkin's cheek and the crowd responds with a few roars of encouragement.

    Golovkin finishes with a good hit to the body. The pace has upped a bit.

    Golovkin is trying to manage the distance while Canelo is slightly more on the front foot, looking for openings for the jab.

    Golovkin's head movement is good as he bobs and weaves out of the way of anything Canelo throws.
