    Lara v Wood 2 - round three

It's been a good three rounds for Wood, but Lara is still a real handful in this one.

Wood looked to put his foot down in the last minute of the third, but Lara got himself out of trouble and then ended strongly himself, crunching a combination of punches to the body of the Nottingham man. Good fight so far.

    Close round.

    Okolie v Billam-Smith - round eight

Okolie is straight out of the blocks with a big right hand over the top. He's finally showing some good distance and then finds his range with a left hand.

Billam-Smith manages to put one into the body but he is starting to show signs of tiredness now. He gets a jab through but it is followed by a big right hand from Okolie, who finishes with a strong left hook that puts his opponent up against the ropes.

    A strong round by Okolie.

    Lara v Wood 2 - round two

Lara connects with a big left hook inside 30 seconds of the second round - easily the Mexican's best moment of the fight so far.

The pair then collide into each other with Lara hitting the canvas but it was clearly a slip and there's no need for Steve Gray to count.

    Lara v Wood 2 - round one

A couple of lefts into the ribs of Lara in the opening few seconds from Wood.

The Briton has the centre ground, with Lara near the ropes trying to protect himself.

A gentle opening round, with Lara cautious and waiting for the right moment but, as Wood found out in their first fight, the Mexican can transform a fight at any time.

    Okolie v Billam-Smith - round seven

Shane McGuigan is screaming again from Billam-Smith's corner about Okolie's holding and Okolie gets another warning.

He does feel to be walking on thin ice here and another bit of grappling time out is called before Okolie is again docked another point. He had enough warnings and it is needless stuff.

Is Okolie getting worried? He finishes the round with an aggressive flurry that pushes Billam-Smith between the ropes.

    Okolie v Billam-Smith - round six

There's still a long way to go in this fight and Okolie kicks off round six with a good straight jab.

Billam-Smith defends well against a couple of strong right handers before complaining a couple of times about holding, which McDonnell gives Okolie a talking to.

Okolie is managing this round well, though, and although he's caught on the chin by a decent right by Billam-Smith he seems to take it in his stride.

    Okolie v Billam-Smith - round five

Okolie immediately looks to close the distance and keep things close as the Bournemouth crowd roar on Billam-Smith.

The home favourite just misses with a swing of the right and there's still not something quite right about Okolie after being floored in round four as he has a point taken for more holding.

A really bad couple of rounds for Okolie but he's got through them and that's probably the key thing as far as he is concerned right now.

Leigh Wood, with the red sombrero on his back - the gift Mauricio Lara gave him after their first fight, which has been a motivation for the last three months after their first meeting in February - makes his way to the ring.

Then comes Mauricio Lara, who lost his WBA featherweight world title world title on the scales earlier this week for being too heavy.

Only Wood is able to win the belt now tonight, with it remaining vacant if the Mexican triumphs.

    Lara v Wood 2

Former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew speaking on DAZN, asked whether Lara will be affected by being stripped of his belt: "No, he just comes here to get rid of people and hurt them."

On the first Wood v Lara fight: "It would never have been his intention to go to points, he would have only looked to KO."

On Leigh Wood's chances tonight: "Wood will box to a plan, he will want to stand and fight. The first six fights, he has to drag Lara and make it a bit messy."
