Marshall has made the move up to super-middleweight, which she describes as her “natural weight.”
There’s no denying her knockout power and ratio - which is made all the more impressive with the two-minute rounds in women's boxing.
But will the added weight impact her stamina along the stretch?
Savannah Marshall is "a happier fighter" at super-middleweight after comfortably weighing in for Saturday's undisputed world-title bout against Franchon Crews-Dezurn in Manchester.
The 32-year-old Briton hit the scales at 11st 13lb, with American champion Crews-Dezurn weighing the same.
Marshall moved up a division after losing her WBO middleweight title to Claressa Shields in October.
"This is more my natural weight," Marshall told BBC Sport.
"I always made middle but it was always a tight squeeze for me. This time I've had more energy, I've been able to eat a lot more instead of cutting down as much.
"I'm a lot bigger and my body has had time to grow. I'm a happier fighter at super-middleweight."
For reference, you can see Marshall in the picture above (left) weighing in at middleweight prior to her middleweight bout with Shields compared to when she weighed-in just a couple of days ago for tonight's super-middleweight contest (right).
I'll keep you posted on how things play out with the ever-flamboyant Ben Whittaker and Vladimir Belujsky.
He's currently soaking up the atmosphere as he dances his way to the ring to a medley of songs, including Michael Jackson's 'Don't Stop 'till You Get Enough'.
Let's take a deeper dive into tonight's main event in the meantime.
Jonas beats Wyatt by TKO
The new two-weight world champion Natasha Jonas, speaking on Sky Sports: "I can't sum that up. Thank you to everyone who spent their hard earned money to be here. It has been such a journey and you've been with me every step of the way.
"I also want to give a big shout out to James who has come all the way from the Shetland Islands, his father died suddenly this weekend and he still came and supported me.
"As well to my neighbour who has come out of hospital to come and support me and has known me since I was born. I am very grateful to everyone.
On what's next: "All I know next is a holiday! I want to go away for a whole month and enjoy my family."
Next up we've got 2020 Olympic silver medallist Ben Whittaker against Vladimir Belujsky.
Whittaker steps into the ring for the fourth time as a professional tonight in Manchester.
The Briton has won his three previous bouts, picking up two victories inside the distance, and the ambitious Briton features in the co-main event against Slovakian light-heavyweight Belujsky, who fights out of Ireland.
Belujsky has picked up 13 wins from 20 fights, losing six and drawing one.
Jonas beats Wyatt by TKO
That's four wins in a row now for Natasha Jonas after her loss to Katie Taylor in May 2021.
Jessica McCaskill? Sandy Ryan? Lauren Price?
She's not willing to make any call outs for her next fight!
Jonas v Wyatt
Caroline Dubois
Olympian and pro boxer
It was a punch perfect performance from Natasha Jonas, she showed great variety tonight.
Jonas v Wyatt
It's all over.
Jonas dictated from the first bell and the referee steps in early in the eighth round to wave this off after she lands another damaging left.
Wyatt never really looked in this contest.
Jonas is a two-weight world champion.
Jonas v Wyatt
Good combination work from Jonas to fight her way out of the corner.
A left hook, swerve and solid shot to the body follows.
Jonas is pulling out the full catalogue and looks to be really enjoying herself.
Jonas v Wyatt
Caroline Dubois
Olympian and pro boxer
Kandi has been eating everything that has been thrown at her so far. But Natasha Jonas has been boxing beautifully so far.
Jonas v Wyatt
Some really well timed shots from Jonas see her take another round.
She's having plenty of success when she throws the left.
I've got her winning all six so far.
"Stay loose and don't over complicate it."
That's the message from Joe Gallagher in Natasha Jonas' corner.
Jonas v Wyatt
We're at the mid-way point and Jonas is coasting to victory.
Jonas is happy to allow Wyatt to control the centre of the ring and she's still looking for those counters off the ropes.
Wyatt does show a little more aggression as the pair both throw shots to the body when they close the range.
Jonas v Wyatt
That's without a doubt the slowest round we've seen so far.
Jonas lands with a flurry right on the bell but there was little else of note.
Jonas v Wyatt
It was mainly head hunting on the counter from Jonas in round two but she's finding a bit more variation now with some solid shots into the body of Wyatt.
All the footwork is coming from Jonas' side as she keeps circling away and waiting to catch Wyatt off the back foot.
Jonas v Wyatt
It's a slower pace to the second round, Jonas' corner asked for that between rounds.
Jonas seems pretty comfortable though as she waits for Wyatt to step forward.
Wyatt is bleeding from the nose after catching some shots in round one.
Caroline Dubois
Olympian and pro boxer on Sky Sports
Kandi can't read that speed of Natasha Jonas. She must keep this pace going.
Jonas v Wyatt
Jonas is out the blocks quickly.
A firm left lands flush and Wyatt is rocked.
After an initial thought about hunting for an early stoppage, Jonas backs off and starts to pick her shots more carefully.
That could be a wise call if this one does go the distance.
Here we go. It's time for the first title fight of the night.
We're scheduled for 10 two-mintue rounds for the vacant IBF welterweight belt.
