  1. Round eightpublished at 23:08 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2023

    Cameron v Taylor

Cameron's trainer Jamie Moore can be heard shouting at the referee, he's been pretty vocal all night, claiming that Taylor is holding.

Taylor looks like she might have a cut now.

There is some very liberal use of the shoulder from Cameron as they box in close and the champion finds a beautiful uppercut.

Taylor looks out on her feet, has the early pace got to her?

That was a massive round for Cameron.

This is as brutal as it gets.

  3. Round sevenpublished at 23:05 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2023

    Cameron v Taylor

Cameron gets a warning from the referee as she wraps her arm around the head head of Taylor and leans on her.

Taylor catches Cameron with a looping right as she steps forward.

Cameron backs Taylor on to the ropes but the Irishwoman cuts an angle and escapes, throwing a combination that seemed to last an age.

They both end the round swinging.

This is so entertaining. What a way to spend a Saturday night!

That was a hard round. This fight is taking it's toll and that was only round six. It was a very hard round to score.

  5. Round sixpublished at 23:01 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2023

    Cameron v Taylor

This is scheduled for 10 rounds so we go beyond the halfway point and Taylor is not showing any signs of slowing.

Neither is Cameron, to be fair, she looks to have taken more damage but is still light on her feet as she bounce back and away from her rival.

A lovely right hook from Cameron as she closes the distance, that might be her best shot of the night.

A much better round from the champion.

  6. 'Katie is holding centre ground'published at 23:01 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2023

    Cameron v Taylor

Chantelle is applying smart pressure. Katie is holding centre ground so well and that is what she needs to do.

"You've got to stay switched on. I don't care how you feel, it's how you look," Katie Taylor's trainer Ross Enamait says between rounds.

  8. Round fivepublished at 22:58 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2023

    Cameron v Taylor

Cameron's corner have plenty of work to do between rounds as they try to deal with that huge gash on her forehead, it looks like they've done a pretty good job for now.

Every time Taylor attacks she does it with combinations.

It's champion Cameron who is having to do the chasing around the ring and she isn't always finding her range before Taylor gets busy.

There is blood everywhere! Tellingly, right in the middle of Katie's brow.

  10. Round fourpublished at 22:55 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2023

    Cameron v Taylor

It's a big cut above the left eye of Cameron, just below the hairline.

Referee Roberto Ramirez asks the doctor to take a look and Cameron is given the all clear.

    This is wild.

A lovely left-right combination from Taylor and then she steps back and catches Cameron with a hook counter as the champion comes forward.

Taylor again with a one-two and she follows with another flurry of punches.

The Irishwoman ends the round with a straight right.

    This is an insane pace.

Cameron is fighting fire with fire. Incredible action. Taylor is fighting on back foot like six months ago, but this time she is prepared to plant her feet once Cameron comes in and fire off combinations.

  13. Round threepublished at 22:52 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2023

    Cameron v Taylor

The crowd are loving this, huge roars every time Taylor throws.

    "Katie, Katie, Katie", they scream.

And she is throwing plenty in this round. They aren't all clean shots but she is staying busy and they judges will like that.

Cameron lands a lovely right hook but the round ends with the pair holding.

Cameron looks to have been cut from a clash of heads.

That was perfect boxing from Katie there. She needs to keep doing it and not get backed up by the bigger, stronger girl.

  15. Round twopublished at 22:49 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2023

    Cameron v Taylor

There's some suggestion that Taylor may have injured her knee or ankle when she hit the canvas in round one. I'll keep an eye on that but she seems to be moving OK.

It's Cameron who comes out with intent in round two.

A lovely jab forces Taylor back into the corner and Cameron keeps the pressure on.

Taylor circles out and has some success of her own.

It gets a little dirty in the clinch with Cameron landing round the back of the head and Taylor responds with a short hook.

They need to be separated at the bell. This is already very tasty.

That looked to me like Katie's legs dropped about six inches after that jab.

  17. Round onepublished at 22:46 Greenwich Mean Time 25 November 2023

    Cameron v Taylor

Taylor started slowly in May but she is out of the traps quickly here.

There's already swelling on Cameron's forehead after just a minute as Taylor finds a home early.

But then Taylor goes down but the referee has deemed it a slip. It looked like a knockdown to me.

    Wow! what a start.

Master of ceremonies David Diamante is doing his thing, "this is it, the time has come!", he says.

Both fighters are wearing black and gold as Diamante runs us through their respective records. It's the first time we hear Katie Taylor announced with a loss on hers.

The noise is deafening as the 3Arena shows support for the home fighter.

Unsurprisingly, boos ring out as undisputed light-welterweight champion Chantelle Cameron is introduced.

Referee Roberto Ramirez with the last word before a touch of gloves.

    Here we go!

And her comes the champion Chantelle Cameron with Strike's 'U Sure Do' switching into a Western number before eventually transitioning into a bit of drum and bass.

I'm not sure how often you'll get a mega mix like that.

She's quickly down to the ring as the crowd chants "ole, ole, ole, Taylor".
