Malachy O'Rourke has made two late changes to his starting team with Nathan McCarron and Ben Cullen dropping out.

They are replaced by Frank Burns, who will no doubt play in the half-back line, and Peter Teague, who will probably started at fullback.

    Oh this is class.

As if the new rule 'enhancements' weren't going to be confusing enough for first-time viewers, the pitch in Healy Park was wrongly marked with the new two-point arc having to be repainted.

The original version, which wasn't wide enough, was blue.

    The new line is white.

So that shouldn't cause any problems at all.

  9. Half-time - Dubs well on top at Croke Parkpublished at 17:52 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    HT: Dublin 1-14 Antrim 0-9

O'Sullivan lands a 65 with the last act of the opening half to bring his tally to 0-9 and open a very healthy lead for the hosts.

Antrim have been ok in patches but it's clear the new system is going to take a little time to bed in as there are players missing their assignment at times and allowing Dublin acres of space in the process.

  10. Postpublished at 17:49 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January

    Galway 0-1 Armagh 0-5

Rory Grugan points a free as Galway fail to keep three players inside their attacking half.

A lot of frees for overcarrying would make you wonder if there has been a word from upstairs to clamp down on it this year...

Anyway, as we approach the break the Dubs stretch the lead further through Purcell and Ó Riain. ´

    Tyrone v Derry (18:00 GMT)

In Malachy O'Rourke's first act as Tyrone manager, he will come up against a trio of starting Glen players who he was in the same dressing room with as recently as three months ago.

Conor Glass, Ethan Doherty and Ciaran McFaul all start for Derry, after their reign as Derry, Ulster and All-Ireland club champions was ended in the Derry SFC final by Newbridge at the end of October.

Malachy has had the time since to get acquainted with all things Tyrone, and he includes just one league debutant in Donaghmore's Ronan Cassidy.

Paddy Tally is also taking charge of Derry for the first time and he has named an experienced team with midfielder Anton Tohill the only new face.

Given this is the first time most of us have seen the new rule 'enhancements' in action, expect confusion to reign so the most important man in the park will be the referee, David Coldrick.
