    Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc have the red soft tyres bolted on. Nico Hulkenberg and Zhou Guanyu have opted for the hard compounds.

    Everyone else is on the yellow medium tyres.

    I really struggle with this track - I love the old tracks, the racing it produces and the history, it's brilliant - but it's hard to ignore the question 'is it fit for purpose'.

    It's not long ago that Anthoine Hubert died here in F2, on a weekend that was awful for crashes.

    That climb up Eau Rouge, it's blind over the hill - if anything happens you get bounced off the barriers, back into the track and that's where the accidents happen.

    Is it safe? We have this debate every year, it feels like, even though organisers are always doing stuff to try to make it safer.

    I think having a European GP rotation of tracks instead would make sense.

    We expect Bruno Famin's replacement as Alpine team principal to be Oli Oakes - currently team principal and director of Hitech GP.

    There's been a big management shake-up and changes at Alpine - they're rumoured to be taking on Mercedes' engine, gear box and other elements.
