How McLaren handled the situation last week was wrong.
Most people at McLaren have never won a championship and it
changes the way you think. They are finding their way back to being a dominant
force. It is not a switch you throw.
I am ok with them learning, and in the coming weeks, months
and years we are going to see them becoming a dominance force.
Decisive weekend for Perez's future?published at 12:03 British Summer Time 27 July

On the face of it it’s a huge weekend for Sergio Perez. The team have already
said they will make decisions after the summer break.
I think the decision has been made that he has to be
replaced, You know what you are going to get from Perez – quite frankly suboptimal
results – the team need two drivers in that fight.
Max Verstappen is fighting to
race wins single-handedly. I think they need to make the change.
'Problem will be if suspension has snapped'published at 11:51 British Summer Time 27 July

If the damage (to Stroll’s car) the front left corner, the elements
of the front suspension are easily interchangeable.
The problem will be if any
of those elements have snapped and punctured the main cockpit.
That is the safety cell in which the driver sits and the
real core of the car. You cannot have any damage on that. I would keep my
fingers crossed and hope.

Pirelli have chosen tyres in the middle of the range for this weekend's grand prix - the same pick as the previous two races at Spa.
Take your pick from the C2 (white, hard), C3 (yellow, medium) and the C4 (red, soft) - plus the green intermediate and full wets, which have been in use already today - for the 19-corner Belgian test.

The medical car was on the scene straight away following Lance Stroll's hefty hit with the wall. The Canadian looks to be OK, but will obviously be checked over by the team. The low loader has also arrived to take that beaten up Aston Martin away.

The front left wheel of Lance Stroll's Aston Martin is bent out of shape. It was a mighty slide for the Canadian at one of the fastest points on the Belgian circuit.

The times on the intermediate tyres are all clocking over two minutes. Brief yellow flags are popping up on screen a drivers to try to avoid aquaplaning on the wet surface.
Daniel Ricciardo is still not happy with his car, so RB say "box, box" for the Australian to come in.
