You can read Jonathan Bradley's report from the Aviva Stadium here, and keep an eye out on the BBC Sport website for more reaction throughout the weekend.

Jacob Stockdale should be rewarded for his form for Ulster next week and I would love to see Stuart McCloskey in.

Although I am wearing my biased Ulster hat!

Andy Farrell hinted about making some changes against Fiji next week.

Could Ulster's Cormac Izuchukwu be handed a debut, and could we see backs Stuart McCloskey and Jacob Stockdale come into the side?

It's a question for another day, but they'll be itching for a chance to show what they can do ahead of a final game against Australia.

That was a thriller, but we're not done with the rugby this weekend!

England face South Africa tomorrow, which should be a cracker, while Scotland take on Portugal.

Last, but by no means least, Australia travel to Cardiff to take on a Wales side who are badly struggling for form.

You can follow all those games right across BBC Sport!

Andy Farrell on discipline issues: "It's a mixture of things. They are trying to do the right thing for the team and they are trying to make a difference. Sometimes that spills over the edge. We need to show a little bit more patience and trust what's going on.

On Fiji and Australia: "It's important to win. We don't lose twice on the trot very often. It was important that we did that, and to do it for Cian [Healy, who equalled Brian O'Driscoll's Irish caps record] and the two debutants [Thomas Clarkson and Sam Prendergast]. We get an extra day this week, and we'll see if we need to freshen the team up a little bit. Over the next two weeks they are going to be tough games, and it's important that we manage it with four games on the bounce.

  7. Ireland lacking clinical edgepublished at 22:39 Greenwich Mean Time

Something that has been a feature of Ireland's game in the past few years has been their clinical edge. That was missing last week and again at times tonight.

They had a late penalty that was kickable to open up the lead but they tapped it, turned it over and it nearly cost them. I don't know why they are missing that steeliness.

  8. 'We need to address discipline'published at 22:38 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Ireland 22-19 Argentina

Here's more from Andy Farrell: "We showed our intent right from the beginning with two charge downs straight away in the first minute. That showed we were going after the game and attacking the game. I thought we played some really good rugby against a really good, aggressive, collision-winning side in Argentina.

"They made the breakdown very hard work. We should have been more out of sight a little bit in the first half. If Tadhg [Beirne] goes over in the corner... I thought we played some really good rugby because of that intent. Everyone knows the story of the game. Our lack of discipline at crucial times, it was a bit individual and it's something we need to keep addressing."

  10. 'Argentina came to the party'published at 22:33 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Ireland 22-19 Argentina

Ireland head coach Andy Farrell, speaking to TNT Sport: "I'm obviously very pleased to get the win. It was some Test match, the atmosphere was amazing and Argentina really came to the party in the second half.

"We've a lot to do with why they came back into it, but my overriding feeling is glad we got the win. Last week we could have won ugly, but we didn't. This week we did."

  11. Poor discipline kills momentumpublished at 22:31 Greenwich Mean Time

The amount of penalties Ireland conceded is a problem. Having that amount go against you is like letting the air out of your tires when you're trying to drive.

Last week, Ireland's ill-discipline cost them the game and it nearly did again tonight. I would imagine Andy Farrell will be drilling into that at training next week.

  13. Postpublished at 22:27 Greenwich Mean Time

Discipline has been a key word over the opening two matches.

Ireland conceded 13 penalties, and Argentina almost punished them.

  14. 'We need to look at penalties'published at 22:25 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Ireland 22-19 Argentina

Here's more from Caelan Doris: "They are different things. I was guilty of a few offsides. When you are under pressure against quality teams you are bound to make a couple of errors. There was definitely some avoidable ones in there. They are the ones we need to look at.

On facing Fiji and Australia: "We want a better performance. Discipline is one thing that needs to improve but we are continuing to grow as a group. I think today was a bit of a step up from last week but we feel like there is definitely more in us. A more complete performance is what we are asking for over the next couple of weeks, and we're going to need it."

  15. 'It went right down to the wire'published at 22:23 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Ireland 22-19 Argentina

Ireland captain Caelan Doris, speaking to TNT Sport: "It went right down to the wire there. We were happy with how it started. There was a good feeling through the warm-up and that carried over to the start. I felt we were in a pretty good position at half time and their quality showed in the second half.

"It was back and forth and our discipline was probably a factor again. We got the result, which was the most pleasing thing after last week."

It was a tricky finish, but did debutants Thomas Clarkson and Sam Prendergast impress you off the bench tonight?

Sam Prendergast looks made for this stage. He was so calm and collected under pressure late in that game.

We all know about the scalps that Argentina have taken so for Ireland not to be added to that list is great. That is a real positive of the night.

As much as they didn't score any points, I was impressed by the Ireland bench. They will be frustrated not to make any inroads but Sam Prendergast and Jamie Osborne looked good.

  20. 'I'm pleased with the fight'published at 22:13 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Ireland 22-19 Argentina

Here's more from Joe McCarthy, who was named man of the match, on what was pleasing: "I suppose just the fight to stay in it. We know how good Argentina are, we knew they were going to be super-tough. The lads were unbelievable to dig in today."

On the second half: "There's a lot to work on. It wasn't perfect but we were happy to get in with it.

On Fiji and Australia: "A huge two next games. It will be massive. We'll enjoy tonight but be back into work on Monday."
