Donegal v Louth, Ballybofey, 16:00 BST

Jim McGuinness makes two changes to the Donegal team that he named midweek with Jason McGee replacing Hugh McFadden at midfield and Caolan McColgan replaces Daire O Baoill at right half forward.

Louth also make two changes to the team in the match programme as Ger Brennan confirms that Dan Corcoran will start a right corner forward with Sean Reynolds dropping to the bench.

Paul Matthews will also start at left half forward with Conor Grimes dropping to the subs bench.

  6. 'It will be a tough challenge'published at 15:47 British Summer Time 22 June

    Donegal v Louth (16:00BST)

Donegal's Shane O'Donnell expects Louth will travel to Ballybofey with "plenty of confidence" and says he and his team-mates are "taking nothing for granted" against the Wee County.

The teams met at the quarter-final stage last year with Donegal prevailing by eight points in a high-scoring affair, while there were five between them when they met three months earlier in the league.

However, a lot has changed since then with Louth claiming the Leinster title last month and, although they lost their opening games to Monaghan and Down in this year's All-Ireland series, they held their nerve to come through against Clare to set up today's encounter.

"It will be a tough challenge against Louth but we will see how we get on," O'Donnell said.

"We played them twice last year and they ran us to the wire in the league and the championship when we played them in the quarter-final."

  7. 'We're looking at the likes of Down and Meath'published at 15:42 British Summer Time 22 June

    Fermanagh v Kildare (16:00 BST)

It wasn't to be for Down today but they pushed last season's beaten finalists close one year after winning the Tailteann Cup.

Fermanagh forward Conor Love has been telling BBC Sport NI's Odhran Crumley this week that the Ernesiders are aiming to emulate Conor Laverty's side ahead of this afternoon's Croke Park semi-final against Kildare.

"It'll be another tough battle for us, I suppose Kildare have definitely been there more recently than us at the top table, so it's more of a stepping stone for them, but we're looking at the likes of Down and Meath in the past couple of years and hoping to emulate them," said Love.

  8. Louth late arrivalpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 22 June

Donegal v Louth, Ballybofey, 16:00 BST

The Louth bus took a wrong turn on the road to Ballybofey earlier today which delayed their arrival to the venue meaning the 'Wee' County arrived just before 15:15 BST.

As it stands the game is still scheduled to throw in at 16:00 BST - it's understood that Louth's request for a 15 minute delay to throw-in was not granted.

  9. Team news - Donegal v Louthpublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 22 June

    Ballybofey, 16:00 BST

It's already been a long summer for Donegal as the Ulster champions prepare to play their 8th championship game in 12 weeks and they're only at the preliminary quarter-final stage.

It also means that if Donegal are to lift Sam later this summer they'll have to play 11 games in 16 weeks.

Today pits the Ulster winners against the Leinster champions Louth.

Jim McGuinness lost for the first time as a manager here in Ballybofey last time out as Tyrone left with a shock opening group round win.

There was drama in Dr Hyde Park last weekend as Ciaran Moore's late winner booked second spot for Donegal and sent Mayo spiralling out of the championship, McGuinness makes one change to that side as Daire O Baoill replaces Caolan McColgan.

There is also one change to the Donegal panel with Niall O'Donnell replacing Eoin McHugh on the bench.

Louth lost both of their games after the Leinster win before recovering last week to beat Clare and book their passage to the last 12.

Ger Brennan makes two changes to the side which beat Clare with Dermot Campbell replacing Dan Corcoran and Sean Reynolds will wear the number 13 jersey as Ciaran Keenan drops off the panel.

A place in the last eight at Croke Park next week is the prize for the winners.

Today's referee is Barry Cassidy of Derry and throw in is 4pm.

Donegal: Shaun Patton; Finbarr Roarty, Brendan McCole, Peadar Mogan; Ryan McHugh, Eoghan Ban Gallagher, Ciaran Moore; Hugh McFadden, Michael Langan; Daire O Baoill, Ciaran Thompson, Shane O'Donnell; Conor O'Donnell, Michael Murphy, Oisin Gallen.
