    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-10

    Philly McMahon
Eight-time All-Ireland winner with Dublin on BBC Sport

We can definitely see that Armagh are pressing a little bit higher. Normally we see them dropping to the half-way line, but this could cause more problems for Kerry.

  3. More Offensive Armaghpublished at 18:26 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-10

    Philly McMahon
Eight-time All-Ireland winner with Dublin on BBC Sport

That was a key message at half time.

After that turnover we see O'Neill up the pitch, Forker, Grugan up the pitch

  4. Second half underwaypublished at 18:24 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-10

We are back on at Croke Park where Kerry hold the advantage. Stefan Campbell is introduced for Armagh in place of Peter McGrane. Can he provide the spark Armagh need?

  5. Armagh need to go for itpublished at 18:24 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-10

    Michael Murphy
Former Donegal captain and All-Ireland winner on BBC Sport

They need to go for it. We think go for it means in terms of the attacking side, but they also need to go more aggressively in their defence.

  6. Armagh goal chancepublished at 18:21 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-10

    Mickey Harte
Former Derry & Tyrone boss on BBC Sport

A great intercept by (Andrew Murnin) and a great read and he's in. I know the angle is tight, but maybe you call it a great save, but it was an easy save for the keeper

  7. Armagh shooterspublished at 18:20 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-10

    Oisin McConville
Armagh All-Ireland winner on BBC Sport

We have three or four players who look comfortable kicking and we have some players who are snatching at it.

As a manager you say, keep going, but on the pitch we have to be better.

  8. Armagh too slowpublished at 18:15 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-10

    Michael Murphy
Former Donegal captain and All-Ireland winner on BBC Sport

They've had a lot of the ball, but slow attacks don't help Armagh.

When they go at things quick and hard they look dangerous.

There's a four-point game here, but they need to play with more vigour.

  9. Good final 10 minutes from Kerrypublished at 18:13 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-10

    Orla Bannon
BBC Sport NI at Croke Park

Kerry started to assert themselves there in that final 10 minutes before the break while Armagh were taking a few wrong options.

After Shane Ryan's wonder save, Armagh kicked two bad wides from Conaty and Crealey. Then Rian O'Neill was blown for charging when there was an easy score there for the taking.

Armagh's forwards were lauded coming into this game but 0-1 from Rian O'Neill is the sum total of what their forwards have scored from play.

David Clifford hasn't scored from play but is still having an influence, while four of Kerry's starting forwards have scored from play.

You get the feeling both sides are holding something in reserve, Kerry are certainly playing within themselves.

    Still all to play for.

  10. Armagh right and wrongspublished at 18:12 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-10

    Oisin McConville
Armagh All-Ireland winner on BBC Sport

Armagh have done a lot of things right and have got a lot right match-up wise.

Sean O'Shea sticks out, he's got three-points from play, he's the one we've struggled on. Paudie Clifford and David Clifford, we've done alright on them.

The problem is that when we get into Kerry's half of the field we take the wrong option.

Shooting when we shouldn't shooting, the wides. These are symptoms of a team that haven't been here in a long long time.

  11. Armagh beliefpublished at 18:09 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-10

    Philly McMahon
Eight-time All-Ireland winner with Dublin on BBC Sport

I'm not convinced by Kerry's first half performance. I think Armagh have been really good defensively, but they really need to believe that they can do it and have a go in the third quarter.

  12. Kerry on top at the breakpublished at 18:09 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    HT: Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-10

That's half-time and Kerry with certainly be the happier as they hold a four-point advantage. Seanie O'Shea and David Clifford have kicked three points apiece for The Kingdom.

Armagh are certainly not out of this but have not been as clinical as they would have liked.

  13. Postpublished at 18:06 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-10

Paul Geaney is taken down by Peter McGrane when rising to take a pass. It earns McGrane a yellow card but fortunately for Armagh, a free and not a penalty is awarded as the foul was adjudged to have taken place just about outside. It's punished anyway as Seanie O'Shea taps over.

  14. Armagh decision makingpublished at 18:06 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-9

    Philly McMahon
Eight-time All-Ireland winner with Dublin on BBC Sport

Not the right shot (as Armagh kick another wide).

They need to more patient on the ball in them shooting zones. The one thing I would say is that there are opportunities for Armagh but if they can just get their head up.

  15. Wonder savepublished at 18:04 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-9

    Orla Bannon
BBC Sport NI at Croke Park

Shane Ryan's strong right-hand save from Andrew Murnin drew audible gasps from the crowd, disbelief from Armagh fans who were sure their man was in, and delight from Kerry after an outstanding save by their number one.

  16. Postpublished at 18:03 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-9

Oisin Conaty and Ben Crealey with wides for Armagh. That's 1-2 passed up over the past few minutes as we approach the break.

  17. Ryan denies Murninpublished at 18:00 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-9

Huge goal chance for Armagh as Andrew Murnin finds himself through but Shane Ryan spends himself and saves.

  18. Postpublished at 17:59 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-9

Diarmuid O'Connor thumps over from distance. Kerry seem happier to shoot from distance and it's been paying off.

  19. Left sided Armaghpublished at 17:58 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

    Armagh 0-6 Kerry 0-8

    Philly McMahon
Eight-time All-Ireland winner with Dublin on BBC Sport

"They (Armagh) are making the left side very small. I don't know if they are planning to break on the other side, but they are gravitating to the left side."

  20. Postpublished at 17:57 British Summer Time 13 July 2024

Armagh with a period of keep-ball as they look for an opening, but David Gough spots an infringement inside with Conor Turbitt kicking the free.
