My son and I are officially obsessed with sumo now. We hope it doesn't take another 39 years to return to the UK.
Jack & Sammy
Loving the Sumo Wrestling Tournament- new to the sport but instantly hooked. Loving the coverage on the BBC Sport page too!

Second round of bouts starts at 21:08 BST
Comedian Munya Chawawa in the crowd, taking it all in - 'I feel like people are more excited about this than they were when England reached the semi-finals in the Euros.
'I've seen people up in their chairs screaming I feel like I want to get in the ring.
'I reckon I could do it, sumo call me up. I'm ready. I guarantee I can be world champion.'

Well thank you very much, Tommy!
Dear Tom and Erin, I like how you're announcing the winners with their winning moves online, it shows improvement and helps the fans.
Tommy
Sumo, as you have seen, has many rules and rituals. Discipline, emotional control, respect for the opponent and the traditions are all considered very important.
A visible display of joy or frustration after a bout would suggest lack of self-control and respect for the opponent. A rikishi’s conduct, as well his results, are reviewed when discussing promotion to higher ranks.
Tobizaru certainly flew...
A reminder of why Tobizaru is called the 'flying monkey'!

Looks like the flying monkey has some fans!
Hit the thumbs up if you're excited to see the 'flying monkey' in action?
Knew nothing about sumo until Wednesday and now I'm hooked! Go on Tobizaru!!

Diego, who has travelled all the way from New York City, is excited to watch some sumo at the Royal Albert Hall - 'Absolutely, I'm still planning my trip to Japan and this was the first opportunity that I got to get closer to experiencing the culture.
'This trip came up to visit friends and a great opportunity to see Sumo, seeing the players and getting exposed to their country, which is great opportunity.'

WOW, what a first round of bouts!
Which was your favourite?
Bout 10
Bout Nine
Ura being Ura. You've got to love him.
Great tsuridashi (frontal lift out).
He's now 3-1.

This next bout should be great. Two (relatively) small, highly skilled rikishi who made the spectators go wild last night with spectacular moves. Will we see more Ura magic?
Bout Eight
Bout Seven
Shodai beats Daieisho at his own game and gets his first win here in London.
