  5. Donegal 'trying to force it too much'published at 14:51 British Summer Time 28 April

Former Donegal captain and All-Ireland winner on BBC Sport

Tyrone have come with a similar gameplan to what Donegal had against Derry last week. They've dominated quite a lot of possession and defended extremely well.

Donegal, on the other hand, have been trying to force it too much with wayward shots while Tyrome have been extremely proficient.

  6. 'Tyrone are dictating the pace'published at 14:45 British Summer Time 28 April

    HT: Donegal 0-5 Tyrone 0-8

    Oisin McConville
Armagh All-Ireland winner on BBC Sport

Donegal have had as much possession as Tyrone but it feels as if Tyrone are dictating the pace of what's going on.

Donegal needed to be more patient and they weren't able to do that enough. They are a lot more passive than they were against Derry.

  7. Tyrone full value for their leadpublished at 14:42 British Summer Time 28 April

Everything Donegal touched against Derry last week turned to gold but this is a different kind of game and Tyrone are really sharp and posing new problems. They are full value for their three-point interval lead.

The Red Hands only hit their first wide of the game seconds before the break while Donegal have been wasteful with six wides and three other shots dropping short or going astray.

The Donegal fans are getting a bit twitchy with Kildare referee Brendan Cawley, feeling Tyrone are getting a few close calls going their way.

You'd have to feel Jim McGuinness will make a few tweaks and surely will come up with a plan to get Ryan McHugh into the game. He was so influential last week going forward but he has obviously been told to sit deep and it's not working.

It was a cautious first half and it's definitely not over. Donegal haven't come out of the traps against a well drilled Tyrone team.

  9. 'There's a cruelty about it' - Hinphey on son's illnesspublished at 14:39 British Summer Time 28 April

    HT: Donegal 0-5 Tyrone 0-8

Former Derry dual player Liam Hinphey had his life turned upside down when his baby son began suffering seizures.

It was the start of a difficult journey for his young family with the five-month-old boy, also called Liam, who was later diagnosed with the life-limiting Dravet Syndrome.

The rare genetic condition is a severe form of epilepsy and includes mobility issues and learning disabilities.

Liam, who requires 24-hour care, is now seven but Hinphey can vividly recall the day when the symptoms first appeared.

"There's a cruelty about it as you don't know it's coming and it just hits you one day," the Dungiven man told The GAA Social podcast.

It's so far, so good for Tyrone.

It's a good lead for the Red Hands, but it's not unassailable by any means. It should be a tasty second half.

I was hoping to see a change in Tyrone's defence - they're nor as aggressive as they need to be.

The teams are still checking each other out, it's tit for tat. There's no-one really gaining momentum.

  20. Tyrone look on itpublished at 14:18 British Summer Time 28 April

The heavy rain that's falling now is not what either side will have wanted and particularly Tyrone, who also have extra-time in their legs.

However the Red Hands look on it and despite being written off in some quarters they are competitive and have won a few turnovers.

Donegal had a slow start last week against Derry but soon came to life and will plan to do the same here.
