    We have to remember that George Russell started on not a new set of medium tyres, they were fresh, not done too many laps but most of the people around him did opt to start on a new set or had a new set of mediums readily available.

    Coming into this race we thought it was a one-stop, the medium should last between 18-25 laps but perhaps they can go further into the race.

    There was a risk that the one-stop would be a little bit marginal, a little bit risky, but that jeopardy has now been thrown out of the window because of that safety car. I'm sure it's going to be a one-stop now.
