    Cork 1-16 Tipperary 0-13

We are back on at Croke Park where Cork have a six-point lead. Tipperary will feel that margin is harsh on them after their first-half exertions, but nine wides so far is a big reason for that.

Will they clean that up and make a big push in this second period or will Cork now drive for home? Let's see.

No changes at the break for either team.

There is only six points in it, that is nothing in a game of hurling. It can change on a six-pence here if Tipperary can get at them and score goals.

Tipp's shooting efficiency has really let them down. They could at least be level they have had that many chances.

  8. Cork lead by six at the breakpublished at 16:14 British Summer Time 20 July

    HT: Cork 1-16 Tipperary 0-13

That goal was the last act of the opening half and what a big moment it may prove to be.

Tipperary was looking more likely to carving out a goal in that first half but it just didn't arrive, while nine wides is a glaring area of concern for the Premier men to address.

Cork have been more economical and although they haven't had it all their own way, they are in a good place at the half.

That is a tonic and pressure reliever that couldn't have come at a better time. That was a great finish.

Six points in daylight, Tipp need to come out now.

The goal is the decisive score of the half.

I think Tipp are playing the game on their terms, they are four behind but that is where they will want to be if they keep Cork goalless in the first half.
