Slaughtneil produced a superb second-half turnaround to stun Portaferry and lift the Ulster Club Hurling Championship with a 2-19 to 1-19 win at the Athletic Grounds.

Trailing by eight midway through the second period, it seemed a big ask for Paul McCormack's men to turn things their way as they had been second best up until then.

But two goals in the space of a minute from Se McGuigan and Shea Cassidy gave them momentum and they powered home late in the game.

    Sarsfields 0-8 Slaughtneil 0-7

What a roar for the Ulster champions as they go down the tunnel at half-time.

The atmosphere in here has been incredible and the physicality of the game has been frightening.

Cormac O'Doherty will hope his three first-half wides from frees won't come back to bite his side although he did nail four places balls.

Daniel Hogan has been the go to man for the Munster champions with four first-half pointed frees of his own.

Slaughtneil have hit five wides to Sarsfields two in the opening half hour.

It's all to play for in the second half and both clubs have a real chance of reaching their first ever All-Ireland final.
