It's a special occasion for Doncaster and Bradford's rivalry and it's not just their place on the table that makes it so.

This is the 80th Football League match between the two, with the Bantams enjoying the most success over the years (W32 D22 L25).

Will they extend that winning lead today?

They both seem up for it, unsurprisingly.

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 12:35 British Summer Time 26 April

    Bristol Rovers 0-0 Reading

Almost a goal inside a minute! Harvey Knibbs has given the woodwork an early rattling for Reading.

A warning sign, if ever there was one, for the hosts.

  3. M4 Derby?published at 12:34 British Summer Time 26 April

    Bristol Rovers 0-0 Reading

75 miles of M4 motorway, 29 points and 14 league places separate these two.

Who comes out on top today?

And Burton and Cambridge fans, are you tuning into this one?

    Leyton Orient 0-0 Wycombe

An early chance for the division's top scorer inside a minute. A ball to the back post finds Charlie Kelman unmarked, but his header is straight at Will Norris.

  5. Goals guaranteed?published at 12:32 British Summer Time 26 April

    Leyton Orient 0-0 Wycombe

Two of the top three goalscorers in the division are on the pitch today, in Orient's Charlie Kelman (21 goals) and Wycombe's Richard Kone (18 goals).

How important could either of those adding to their respective tallies prove this afternoon?

    Nervous, anyone?

  7. 'Neither of us have got anything sealed' - Alexanderpublished at 12:27 British Summer Time 26 April

    Doncaster v Bradford (12:30 BST)

    Bradford City

Bradford City boss Graham Alexander speaking to BBC Radio Leeds:

"We all know what is at stake for both teams, with both teams in a similar position. It [promotion] is there and it is in your periphery, but then you have to focus your mind on, 'what is my job today?'.

"When it comes to kick-off, it is about what I have to do today, not what it means if we do this or if they do that - it is about what we have to do today.

"That is when you have to start talking to yourself and start the discipline like we have done all season.

"I'm glad the fans are excited, they have been excited for a long time which is brilliant. And we have to justify it and it is has to be tangible, and ultimately success.

"Both teams have done a lot over 44 games to be in this position, but neither of us have got anything sealed."

  8. 'Will Doncaster play a high line?'published at 12:26 British Summer Time 26 April

    Doncaster v Bradford (12:30 BST)

    Jamie Raynor
    BBC Radio Leeds commentator

"It will be really interesting to see how high of a line Doncaster deploy today or comparatively how deep they sit.

"If they play a high line that will play in top Bradford City's hands, because it offers that space in behind to release the likes of Calum Kavanagh who want to run off the shoulder and Antoni Sarcevic can play it into the channel.

"If there is a deeper line that worries me, because then City get caught into the trap of trying to play it up to Kavanagh who is the required to pin the defender.

"I think the Bradford striker is at his best when he is running at defenders rather than backing into them."

Forget what they tell you, this is THE match of the day!

For Doncaster, let’s keep it simple. They are promoted with a win. Walsall’s scoreline today can also mean they go up, and they they can even be champions today, depending on how Port Vale get on!

Standing in their path a Bradford side also gunning for League One! Victory and a Walsall defeat will see them Graham Alexander pull that off, after five seasons in the fourth tier.

Doncaster’s front four are an absolute joy but the standout performer has been Luke Molyneux. Ok, his opener against Tranmere was a cross, before bagged two more for a hat-trick. And he didn’t add to his goals against Colchester but set up two, making it 12 assists and 16 goals for the EFL League Two Player of the Season nominee.

For Bradford City, they have been without top scorer Andy Cook since he injured his ACL on New Year’s Day. But with Calum Kavanagh up front and spreading the goals between them, they have thrown together some thrilling contests, sitting in the final automatic promotion place.

They threw away a 3-1 lead to draw 3-3 with Chesterfield and before that, followed up a bonkers 5-4 defeat to Swindon with a 1-1 draw at home to Notts County. One win in six is why they’re three points of Donny and not leading the standings.

It’s an early kick off but sleepy start or otherwise, we will be in for a chaotic crescendo for sure!

General view of Eco-Power StadiumImage source, Rex Features

It's been six years since Bradford City were last in League One and you get the feeling that the fans think this could be the year they return.

They set a new attendance record at the Valley Parade when Colchester United came to town and are now within grasp of securing a rise into the third division should they beat Doncaster Rovers and Walsall lose.

But before then, standing in their way is a side who could claim the title prior to the Saddlers even setting a foot on the pitch.

Doncaster have been enjoying a stellar end to their season, undefeated across their past nine and not necessarily in need of a win to ensure they are promoted.

When it comes to penultimate matches of the season, it doesn't get more heavyweight than this.

Sam Hart doesn't make the trip but Rekeem Harper is available from the bench.

"Courage and composure" - those are the two words Port Vale boss Darren Moore wants his side to embody going into the final two matches of the season.

The Valiants' promotion back to League One is not yet sealed but it's close, with a victory over AFC Wimbledon piling the pressure on Walsall to find their first win since February to prevent it from happening.

But before the Saddlers take to the field, the Dons will be aiming to take Moore's redemption arc (he was boss when they were relegated to the fourth tier last season) into the final game by claiming victory and an extra sweet one at that.

Win here and AFC Wimbledon are in the play-offs but like their visitors, they will need both bravery and poise to make it happen.

There's a lot of ifs and maybes in League Two today but some big prizes on the line too.

    What can earn Doncaster promotion?

    • If they win
    • If they draw AND Walsall fail to win
    • If they lose AND Walsall lose
    • They could also pick up the title should they win and Port Vale lose

What can earn Port Vale promotion?

    • If they win AND Walsall fail to win
    • If they draw AND Walsall lose

Bradford will earn promotion if they win AND Walsall lose.

How can AFC Wimbledon book a play-off spot?

    • If they win
    • If they draw AND Grimsby lose
    • If they draw AND Salford draw with Colchester

How can Notts County book a play-off spot?

    • If they win AND Grimsby fail to win
    • If they win AND Salford draw with Colchester
    • If they win AND Salford beat Colchester

    What could see Carlisle relegated?

    • If they lose
    • If they draw AND Tranmere avoid defeat
    • If they win AND Tranmere win AND Accrington avoid defeat

  16. Two Orient changes, three for Wycombepublished at 12:13 British Summer Time 26 April

    Leyton Orient line-up

Two changes for Richie Wellens and Leyton Orient.

Dan Agyei - who set up the equaliser at Cambridge last week - returns to the starting XI alongside Brandon Cooper.

Dilan Markanday and Jack Currie miss out this time around.

Mike Dodds make three changes to the Wycombe side that lost 0-4 at home to fellow promotion-chasers Charlton last Monday,

Xavier Simons, Daniel Udoh, and Fred Onyedinma come in, replacing Garath McCleary, Tyreeq Bakinson and Joe Low.

Leyton Orient v Wycombe (12:30 BST)

Neither of these two teams can confirm anything at full-time this afternoon, but both can take a giant leap towards their lofty goals for 2025.

Wycombe have occupied the second automatic promotion spot behind runaway leaders Birmingham for 28 of the past 32 matchdays, but their chances of finishing the season there could slip out of their hands if they don't pick up all three points in East London.

A draw or defeat for Mike Dodds' men will mean Wrexham can clinch second place with a win against Charlton in the evening kick-off.

Three points for the Chairboys will ensure the fight to join Birmingham in the top two will go to the final day, whatever the result in Wales later.

All four of Wycombe's defeats this calendar year have come against sides in the top six, and they can ill afford a repeat this afternoon.

Orient are in fine form, having won six of their last eight and their last three. On Easter Monday, they had a big say at the bottom with victory over Cambridge, and this time around they could have a big say in the fight at the top.

Level on points with Reading in the hunt for sixth and the final play-off spot, a win today would not quite be enough to guarantee an extended season, but with a goal difference nine better than the Royals, three points would go an awful long way to booking their ticket to a shot at the Championship in May.

Two differences in the starting XI this time around for Bristol Rovers, who lost at home to Stevenage last time out.

Unsurprisingly, no changes for Reading from the side who beat Mansfield 5-1 away from home last Monday.

  19. Royals to rumble Rovers in relegation race?published at 12:07 British Summer Time 26 April

Bristol Rovers v Reading (12:30 BST)

    Bristol RoversImage source, Rex Features

Both Reading and Bristol Rovers are just the wrong side of where they want to be right now.

The Royals are seventh, one place outside the top six, while Rovers are 21st, one place inside the relegation zone.

As with our other early game in the third tier between Wycombe and Leyton Orient, nothing can be decided for these two sides today.

It's been a good week off the pitch for the Berkshire club, having agreed terms with a buyer on Tuesday, and three points this lunchtime will take the race for the final play-off position in League One with Leyton Orient to the final day.

For the Gas, it's been a torrid six weeks. One point from a possible 24 has seen them fall into the bottom four, and another defeat today would leave them on the brink of a return to League Two.

There will doubtless be other eyes on the Memorial too, with Burton (the side directly above Rovers) and Cambridge (the side directly below Rovers) facing off at 3pm.

Should Iñigo Calderón's side pick up all three points for the first time in nine games, then Cambridge will be relegated before kicking a ball, regardless of their result today.

A draw in Bristol would leave the U's needing to win to have a hope of retaining their third tier status, and temporarily place Burton - who have a game in hand - in the bottom four.

Follow closely, there will likely be plenty of movement between now and 5pm.

  20. What's at stake in League One?published at 12:05 British Summer Time 26 April

    #bbcefl

League One table with a picture of Birmingham City's Tomoki IwataImage source, BBC Sport/Rex Features

League One title-winning Birmingham City claimed victory over Stevenage in the week to go above the 100 point threshold and within one point of beating local rivals Wolves' third-tier points record of 103 from 2013-14.

They aren't in action today so no record-breaking on offer but here's what could be decided by the end of play this afternoon.

    • If Bristol Rovers win in their early afternoon kick-off, Cambridge will be relegated. Though if the Gas don't take all three points, the U's will still need to beat Burton to keep their survival hopes alive.
    • Wins for either Bristol Rovers or Burton could also spell the end of the road for Crawley should they not find victory, while a draw could be enough to stay in the fight if one of the sides equally don't manage to find all three points.
    • Wrexham could secure automatic promotion but will need Wycombe to fail to win at Leyton Orient to give them a chance to earn it by defeating Charlton in today's late game.
