    A valuable lesson from Phil Parkinson about football club owners.

    He's referred to how Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have let him manage and get on with his job.

    Many, many clubs in the EFL and above could probably take a long look at how Wrexham have gone about things.

    Wrexham were going nowhere when these Hollywood actors got involved. But it's the hope for all football fans that maybe something special will happen to our club.

    And it's the perfect way to end this mammoth day of live football in Leagues One and Two.

    Nobody was quite sure how Wrexham would do in League One after promotion 12 months ago.

    Yes, they had Hollywood backing and money, but clubs like Huddersfield, Bolton, Birmingham were lying in wait.

    But Wrexham have proved more than a match for everyone in the third tier. They started with 13 points out of 15 and they have been threatening to do this all season.

    It played out perfectly for Wrexham.

    The fans would have been nervous but it was beautiful for them, those early goals calmed everyone down.

    It was as comfortable as it could be in the second half, the defensive solidity they have built compared to last year has been the real difference this campaign.
