    Alice Kinsella is victorious!

    I'm absolutely thrilled for her.

It's been a rollercoaster of a week but she finishes the Games with a gold medal.

Gold - England - Alice Kinsellapublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 2 August 2022

    Gymnastics - women's floor

It's a superb floor gold for Alice Kinsella - and a one-two for England as Ondine Achampong gets the silver!

What a way for Kinsella to bounce back from those all-around and beam disappointments.

Australia's Emily Whitehead takes the bronze with a score of 13.000, denying Canada's Emma Spence.

    Men's horizontal bar final

Cyprus are celebrating as if Ilias Georgiou has snatched the men's horizontal bar gold medal with the very last routine of the final...

And they are right! A huge score of 14.466 pips Australia's Tyson Bull. It's bronze for Cyprus too as Marios Georgiou takes third.

England's James Hall and Joe Fraser were fifth and seventh respectively, with Scotland duo Hamish Carter and Frank Baines finishing sixth and eighth.

It looked like Hamish had his hands over but it was quite flat.

Sometimes when it's quite flat it gives the bar a bit of a re-bound and it causes you to fall.

    Men's horizontal bar final

Another fall as the bar claims a third victim.

Much like Joe Fraser's routine earlier, it was a real shame as the fall was the only thing Hamish Carter really did wrong.

There will be no British medal in this final. Australia's Tyson Bull is first on 14.233, Cyprus' Marios Georgiou second on 14.133 and another Aussie, Mitchell Morgans, is third on 13.900.

An error costs Romi Brown a chance at a medal, which means Ondine Achampong is now guaranteed a medal too - and it will be at least silver for Alice Kinsella.

Only Australian Emily Whitehead can deny her gold now.

That help isn't coming for James Hall.

Australia's Mitchell Morgans produces a fine routine full of difficulty to score 14.100 and go third.

Hall drops to fourth and England will not add to their medal haul in this discipline at least.

Scotland's Hamish Carter is next up.

South Africa's Naveen Daries will be followed by Australia's Romi Brown and Emily Whitehead in this floor final.

Daries scores 12.200 - which guarantees Alice Kinsella a medal!

But what colour will it be? Two to go.

    Men's horizontal bar final

Halfway through the men's horizontal bar and Cyprus' Marios Georgiou has just gone second with 14.133, just below Australia's Tyson Bull, on 14.233.

Bull actually failed to qualify for the final but got in via a withdrawal and an Australia team-mate giving up his place - because he felt Bull had a better chance of winning. That's unselfishness for you - and so far that team-mate is being proven right.

England's James Hall and Scotland's Hamish Carter still to come in the second half of the final, no doubt hoping to avoid the falls that plagued the routines of Joe Fraser and Frank Baines.

And Hall is up next. Can he add to England's massive medal haul?

He should still be very proud of what he's done for Scotland.

Joe Fraser's score comes in, 12.266 after that fall. His medal haul will remain at three. He takes it with good grace, smiling and thanking the crowd.

Not how he will have wanted his Games to end. But he'll have far more happy memories than sad after those three golds.

Unfortunately, the falling habit is catching - Scotland's Frank Baines misses with a grab too and also hits the mat. After three competitors, Australia's Tyson Bull will top the standings, purely by virtue of having not fallen!
