    In our final match of the day in the badminton it's the women's doubles final and England's Lauren Smith and Chloe Birch are targeting gold against Malaysia's Koong Le Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan.

    Smith has played 11 matches in this Commonwealth Games, losing out on the gold medal in the mixed doubles just this morning with partner Marcus Ellis.

    Considering Smith had originally said she would not play in the women's doubles, instead choosing to focus on the mixed doubles, it's some effort.
