New Zealand have beaten England comfortably to win the bronze medal in the T20 cricket.
They needed fewer than 12 overs to claim an eight-wicket victory over England.

So, will it be Mark Cavendish's day?
The Isle of Man rider missed out on a Tour de France place this year and is looking to add another Commonwealth gold to his scratch race win on the track, 16 years ago.
He left the Tour of Poland earlier this week in order to concentrate on today's race.

Given his form this season, having finished third at the Tour de France before winning time trial bronze on Thursday despite crashing, he will fancy this today.

Another rider in fine form, Wright entertained us all with his efforts at the Tour de France this summer and he claimed an excellent time trial silver this week.
Elsewhere, Australia have a strong squad including time trial winner Rohan Dennis, while New Zealand’s Aaron Gate has already won three track golds at the 2022 Games.

England have opted to leave Adam Gemili out of their final four for the men's 4x100m final.
Just as at the World Championships, albeit in Great Britain vests, youngster Jona Efoloko is preferred on the opening leg. The 22-year-old ran a windy 10.12 to come fourth in the British Championships earlier this year.
Ojie Edoburun will run the anchor leg in the absense of the injured Reece Prescod. Relative old hands Zharnel Hughes and Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake will deal with the middle section of the race.
That gets going at 12:40 BST.

New Zealand are cruising to the bronze medal against England.
They have raced to 95-2 after 10 overs - only needing 16 more runs for victory.
England need a miracle - but we might even be beyond that stage.
Women's doubles
English pair Chloe Birch and Lauren Smith are about to get underway in their semi-final match against Australia's Gronya Somerville and Wendy Chen for a place in the gold medal match.
Smith and Birch are the number-two seeds but haven't competed together for eight months until this tournament.
Women's javelin
There are no athletes from the home nations involved in the ongoing women's javelin final, which is currently being led by Australia's Mackenzie Little.
She produced a personal best throw of 64.03m to edge ahead of compatriot and world champion Kelsey-Lee Barber (63.52m).
Men's light heavyweight final
It's an all-home nations affair in the men's light heavyweight final as Scotland's Sean Lazzerini fights Taylor Bevan.
Bevan has been in brutal form on his way to booking his place in the gold-medal bout.
His semi-final against England’s Aaron Bowen was an absolute humdinger with the Welshman eventually prevailing.
In previous rounds he knocked out New Zealand’s Onyx Lee and stopped Samoa’s Jancen Putoa. Bevan qualifies for Wales through his mother and splits his time between Hampshire and Cardiff.
Lazzerini is aiming to become the first Scot to win gold at the youth and senior versions of the Commonwealth Games. World champion Josh Taylor, a 2014 Commonwealth gold medallist, has lent his support to the squad ringside and twitter.
A hand injury meant the 25 year-old did not fight competitively for two and a half years before returning in February.

There was a hug of mutual respect in the ring between Sam Hickey and Callum Peters in the ring there. What a fight that was, and it could have gone either way.
But Callum Hickey of Scotland is the Commonwealth champion. He puts his hands over his face, he can't believe it.
The crowd go wild.
Men's middleweight final
Scotland's Samuel Hickey jumps for joy as he claims Commonwealth Games gold in the men's middleweight final.
In a hard-fought bout, the Scot was pushed all the way against 19-year-old Australian Callum Peters but Hickey's quality shone through as he won by split decision.
He picks up Scotland’s first Commonwealth boxing gold since Charlie Flynn and Josh Taylor in 2014.

Tom Bosworth gave race walking a platform. He has been very vocal and people wanting see more of his event and he has been a stalwart. Nice to see him taking it all in and celebrating his legacy.
Joshua Stacey made it a great start to day 10 for Wales as he won para-table tennis gold.

It will be fourth place for Callum Wilkson and I hope he realises that he is in fourth place and not third.
Tom Bosworth, who has carried that flag for England still has another lap to go. Back injuries have really ruined his career of late.
It's a fond farewell to quite a character.
Men's triple jump
All over too in the men's triple jump, and it's a one-two for India as Eldhose Paul takes gold with a leap of 17.03m, ahead of team-mate Abdulla Aboobacker Narangolintevid.
Bermuda's Jah-Nhai Perinchief gets the bronze medal.
Men's 10,000m race walk
It's race walk gold for Canada's Evan Dunfee, with Australia's Declan Tingay second and India's Sandeep Kumar in bronze.
England's Callum Wilkinson finishes fourth, as Tom Bosworth begins his final lap to bring his career to an end.
