You can see the England players are feeling a bit hard done by by some of these umpire calls. They need to just crack on and not let the calls get in their head.

Although Matthew McHale - a tiler, rather than a professional athlete - has to settle for bronze, Sam Hickey and Sean Lazzerini will win at least silver on Sunday. All in, the eight-strong squad will leave with five shiny bits of tin regardless of what happens over the next couple of days.

We need everyone on defence, making them make as many passes as they can and force the long feed.
