    Men's super-heavyweight semi-finals

England's Delicious Orie has been dubbed the "new Anthony Joshua" by some fans and was hoping for a good luck message from his former sparring partner before tonight's semi-final.

"He's a great inspiration and I've told him this in person when I used to be sparring with him in camps," said Orie following his quarter-final win over Trinidad's Nigel Paul.

"If it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't be here because he made me believe that it was possible.

"I just want to carry on that message to any young kid that it is very much possible to achieve these things if you put your mind to it."

There is no British representation in the women's middleweight semi-finals, which means the next bout of particular interest will be the super-heavyweight clash involving Delicious Orie.

Orie, 25, has been dubbed the 'new Anthony Joshua' but faces a tough test against New Zealand's Leuila Mau’u in the semi-finals.

That's the final bout of the night and is coming up at 21:15 BST.

Both men, like everyone in the boxing semi-finals, are guaranteed a bronze medal and means whoever wins this bout will pawn that for either gold or silver.
