"You have to take your hat off to Andrew McBrine. Ten overs, 0-26, that's fantastic bowling. He's done a real job for his captain."

Metronomic McBrine continues, just 21, and three singles are all that he concedes. He has completed remarkable figures of 0-26 from his 10 overs against this collection of West Indian cavaliers.
Seamer Sorensen returns and he is dispatched over long on by the muscular Sammy, who has made eight ODI fifties and needs another today one feels...perhaps more.
Garry MacDonald
Former Canterbury spinner and coach on BBC Test Match Special
"The two West Indian boys get a couple of singles just to get a bit of momentum going. But what they have to ask themselves now is, how long before they put the hammer down?"
Many thanks, well we've had a variety of musical interludes between overs, the latest is Monkees classic Daydream Believer and there could be a few more believing in another famous Ireland victory. McBrine has conceded only two fours in his nine overs and it's all a bit betwixt and between for the Windies with so little left in the hutch.
West Indies 106-5 off 30 overs - Ireland won toss
Run-rate: 3.53
Batsmen: Sammy 15, Simmons 12
Fall of wickets: 30-1 (Smith 18), 31-2 (Bravo 0), 3-78 (Gayle 36), 4-78 (Samuels 0), 5-87 (Ramdin 1)

Dockrell rattles through another set. A single apiece for Sammy and Simmons. With that, I leave you in the capable hands of Jamie Lillywhite.
The Ireland spinners have got West Indies pinned down like beetles in an entomologist's display case at the moment. Just two singles from another tight over from Andy McBrine.
Peter Ovington:, external Explaining cricket to my Irish girlfriend, she is starting to get there.
Lendl Simmons, resigning himself to the face that he won't be getting any pace to work with today, exchanges his helmet for a cap. Dockrell now has the lowest average of any slow left-arm bowler with 50 wickets in ODI history, incidentally. One from his latest set.
Josh in Bedford: Would love to see England show the same passion and desire that Ireland show in the field.
An inability to deal in singles and turn the strike over has been a feature of this West Indies innings so far, and again the batsmen struggle to get McBrine away, picking up just two from his latest over.

"The interval will be a full-blown 45 minutes, we're not used to that. What a story we may have here. Nelson doesn't need any more putting on the map but it may have some today."
A shimmy from Sammy as he dances down the wicket and lofts an absolutely glorious drive miles over the long-off boundary. Phwoar. Plenty for Ireland still to be wary of.
Hugh Dickinson:, external Is it bad that as an Englishman who has no connection with Eire, I care more about Ireland than England?
Spin bowler George Dockrell is only 22 years old, but has already represented Ireland on more than 100 occasions, and is playing in his second World Cup.
The Somerset left-armer is making his 43rd one-day international appearance, having made his debut in 2010 against West Indies when he was aged just 17.
The West Indies are on the ropes, soaking up bodyshots - can Ireland deliver the knockout blow? The Windies' trial by spin continues as Andy McBrine returns with his slow tweak, and keeps the batsmen to three singles.
Darren Sammy is the new batsman for the West Indies - he'll have plenty to prove after losing the captaincy to Jason Holder, and he can hit the ball a mile. But he may have to rein in his aggressive instincts for the time being. He's off the mark with three to third man.

New Zealand commentator Garry MacDonald: "They are just not working the singles. That was a big shot, he was going for the boundary."
George Dockrell is on fire! He has his third wicket as Denesh Ramdin misses with a sweep and is struck on the pad. Bruce Oxenford raises the finger and West Indies are all out of reviews - he has to go.
