Things are looking good for Ireland. They have reduced Zimbabwe to 41-2 after 10 overs - that is still 291 short of what would be a record World Cup run-chase, if managed successfully.
John Mooney claimed the first wicket, having Sikandar Raza caught by Paul Stirling at slip for 12 before Alex Cusack got in on the action to dismiss the other opener, Chamu Chibhabha, caught by Will Porterfield for 18.
The two men currently looking to rebuild the innings for Zimbabwe are Solomon Mire and Hamilton Masakadza.

"De Villiers charged and was looking to go leg side, but the ball got too close to him and it took the top edge. He wanted to go over the man on the leg side who was up in the circle. It's a fifth catch for the wicketkeeper, who has been much tidier than Umar Akmal."
But the Pakistan flags are out in force now. De Villiers had collected his seventh four with a thick edge but a swipe at Sohail results in an edge to the keeper with 32 still needed. Is that the end of South Africa's hopes? Another fabulous innings though. Scintillating stuff.

"AB de Villiers's fifth six today is his 32nd in World Cups, the most in a World Cup career passing Ricky Ponting's 31."
That's got some height on it, a full toss from paceman Wahab is effortlessly flipped off his pads by De Villiers several rows back, and he leans back to thump a short one for four more. The second over of the powerplay yields 11.
The batting powerplay begins and they really need to clone this man's hand-eye co-ordination. AB skips down the pitch at seamer Sohail Khan, bowling around 80mph, and away it goes over mid-on for four. Averaging 100 for the tournament now. Morkel keeps out the final ball, what a finish we have here.

"If I was a Pakistan supporter, I wouldn't wave my flag just yet. AB de Villiers can still do something remarkable."
Can Zimbabwe set a record for the highest successful chase in a World Cup? They are 18-0 after five overs in their Pool B game in Hobart. If Pakistan beat South Africa, defeat will send Zimbabwe out.
Zimbabwe 18-0 (5 overs) - target 332
Ireland 331-8: Joyce 112, Balbirnie 97

What a shot from Morkel, like Graeme Smith in his pomp, a scything cut to the fence by the left-hander, who averages eight and has a best of 25.
But the plot thickens further. The dependable Abbott is no more. Not such a happy atmosphere now. Well caught low at second slip prodding off the back foot. Now what does AB do? Just Morkel and Tahir left. He's got to get back on strike for a start.
A third six brings up his fifty from 45 balls and he celebrates by sweeping Afridi for another maximum to become the leading runscorer in the tournament. Still the five powerplay overs to come incidentally, despite the reduction in the number of overs.
South Africa 154-7 from 30 overs (target 232 from 47 overs - Duckworth/Lewis method)

Bowling figures: Irfan 8-0-52-3, Sohail 3-0-23-0, Rahat Ali 7-1-31-2, Afridi 4-0-15-0, Riaz 6-2-33-2
Pakistan 222 (46.4 overs): Misbah 56, Steyn 3-30

Rahat Ali is back in the attack, another left-arm seamer, around a foot shorter than the injured Irfan. A short and wide one is carved away by AB, just out of the reach of the sprawling backward point fielder for the maestro's fourth four. Abbott playing a useful, responsible foil and keeping them out.
Ilyas Najib: I'm already praying, come on Pakistan, we can do this.
Abbott gets a thin edge and the ball trickles away to the boundary, the fielder's trousers coming awry as he slides into the ropes. Admirable devotion to the cause but four more it is.

"I don't think that shot was necessary. It was bad judgement. He has to play and wait for his moment."
Afridi asks for a review as De Villiers makes no contact with his sweep. Big moment. The replays indicate the ball was missing off-stump by several inches so the star man remains on 38.
Irfan is patched up sufficiently and completes the over but he is going off now.

"I don't think he's injured... I think it's cramp."
Geoffrey Boycott: "Cramp? In his bottom?"
