Oolon Calluphid: Buttler and Jordan to wallop a quick 50 each then we can have a bowl before lunch?

    Graeme Swann
Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special

"We won't know if England have a good score but I have a feeling it's a hundred or so short. Little bits of the wicket did disappear yesterday and it's only going to get worse, so it will help spinners. It'll be a big day for Moeen Ali and will get bigger as the match goes on."

  3. Alastair Cook interviewpublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

"It's an interesting wicket, quite a slow wicket, I think it will turn more and more, I don't think it will break up massively, I think people will find it quite hard to score if you bowl in the right areas. We lost too many wickets yesterday, obviously me running out Mo was not ideal and then the shot I played at the end.

"We could still get 350, hopefully we can scramble a few more this morning and then put some pressure on them when we bowl."

"I got 95 six or seven games ago so it is only five run but it is that monkey which people can now stop talking about. No matter how many times you try not thinking about it, not scoring a hundred for England for two years is quite a long time."

  5. Alastair Cook interviewpublished at 14:42 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Captain Cook has been speaking to BBC this morning and he said: "I doesn't matter how many runs you get, when you get out you're incredibly frustrated, it would have been great to be not out overnight but I would have taken that personally to finally score a hundred. You saw my reaction, normally I'm quite low key but it meant quite a lot."

Just imagine if, after THAT World Cup campaign, England only draw 1-1 with the sadly now mediocre West Indies? But let's wait and see what Jos Buttler and the tail can muster.

It's intriguingly poised and you're very welcome to our day two coverage of the third and final Test between West Indies and England from the Kensington Oval, Barbados, where the weather is again set fair, with barely a cloud in the sky.

How we are we all? Well Alastair Cook will be glad to get that century, but not to get out in the last over. So, seven down with only 240 on the board? Interesting...
