  1. wicket

    Taylor c Healy b Osborne 30 (Eng 80-4)

Jubilation for Australia as Taylor tries to dab Osborne down towards third man, and gets a faint nick to the keeper. Taylor departs, how much of England's hopes have departed with her?

  2. Eng 80-3 (Taylor 30*, Greenway 1*)published at 19 overs

Australia are ringing the changes here - after just two overs of leg-spin from Beams, the Southern Stars turn back to the pace of Ellyse Perry to bowl at Greenway, who is watchful early on against the Aussie spearhead - indeed, it's a maiden over.

Australia just keep putting the brakes on, making sure this England innings doesn't get into a rhythm.

  4. Eng 80-3 (target 239)published at 18 overs

Left-hander Lydia Greenway is the new batter, vastly experienced with 121 previous ODIs under her belt. She's off the mark with a wristy single through mid-wicket.

A huge wicket from Australia's point of view because they keep picking up wickets at regular intervals. Sarah Taylor is struggling for a partner at the moment.

    Jones c Jonassen b Osborne 15 (Eng 79-3)

A promising partnership is ended as Erin Osborne comes on for first over and Jones lifts her second ball to Jonassen at mid-wicket.

  8. Eng 79-2published at 17 overs

A better over from the leg-spinner Beams, but the field is set deep now and England help themselves to another busy overs of ones and twos without too much trouble.

  9. Eng 72-2 (target 239)published at 16 overs

Taylor and Jones, both wicketkeepers by trade, help themselves to several singles, while Jones drives Coyte to deep extra cover for two. This pair have added 31 already, and Jones seems to have studied at the Alec Stewart Academy of Bat-Twirling - giving it a spin or two between deliveries.

Australia need a little breakthrough here - Coyte has the experience, she's kept Jones quiet.

  11. Eng 65-2 (Taylor 26*, Jones 5*)published at 15 overs

Leg-spinner Kristen Beams into the attack, and her first ball is an absolute pie of a full toss which Taylor despatches for two. Harsh to suggest she might have been taught leg-spin by whoever coached Steve Smith to bowl? Beams isn't quite finding her areas yet, but Jones picks up a single to the cover sweeper.

  12. Eng 61-2 (target 239)published at 14 overs

Sarah Taylor continues to live dangerously - crouching down to attempt a ramp shot past the keeper, of the sort which the Taunton faithful might associate with another England wicketkeeper - ex-Somerset man Jos Buttler. But she can't connect cleanly and although it goes for four, leg byes are signalled. Bit of a risky shot in the circumstances?

  13. Eng 56-2 (Taylor 22*, Jones 4*)published at 13 overs

A reprieve for Taylor - lofting Ferling high in the air over square leg, Jess Cameron scampers in from the rope and dives forward but the catch falls short of her, and Cameron can only parry the ball to a team-mate as Taylor takes a single. Her 22 has come from 19 balls.

  15. Eng 55-2published at 12.2 overs

Taylor forces Ferling for four with a characteristic whipped shot over mid-wicket - and when umpire Alex Wharf spreads his arms to signal a legside wide, the crowd is able to applaud England reaching 50. The next ball is wide outside off stump, and also signalled wide, and the teenager is struggling for line and length at the moment as Taylor flicks another four through mid-wicket.

  16. Eng 45-2 (target 239)published at 12 overs

The new batter is Amy Jones, playing only her fifth ODI - but she's off the mark with a lovely four through the covers, all along the ground.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 11.2 overs

    Knight c Lanning b Coyte 12 (Eng 41-2)

England lose a second wicket - Knight tries to force Coyte through the leg side, gets plenty of bottom hand on it and lifts a catch to mid-on. Both openers gone.

  18. Eng 41-1 (target 239)published at 11 overs

And it's a double change in the bowling as Perry gives way to fellow pace bowler Holly Ferling, who burst onto the international scene at the 2013 World Cup and is still in her teens - not turning 20 until December. She's had one or two injury problems since then, but is fit again now. However, her first over doesn't go well as Taylor tucks in with a two and an on-driven four.

  19. Eng 35-1 (Knight 12*, Taylor 7*)published at 10 overs

Australia make their first bowling change as right-arm medium-pacer Sarah Coyte replaces spinner Jonassen, and Knight pushes her first ball for two. Taylor then has to be alert as Knight straight-drives and Coyte sticks out a hand to divert it onto the stumps at the bowler's end, but Taylor had regained her ground in time. England add a couple of quick singles.
