So eight-time List A champions Gloucestershire have denied the soon-to-be county champions Yorkshire the chance of a double, and reached their first Lord's final since 2004 - when they beat Worcestershire.

They will face either Surrey or Nottinghamshire, who face each other at The Oval tomorrow and you can follow that with our live text commentary from 11:15 BST.

    Until then, goodbye.

Gloucestershire captain and man-of-the-match Michael Klinger: "It was certainly worth the trip back. I would have felt guilty had I not come back, and I'd like to thank the club for flying me back from Australia.

"I'm going to wait around for two weeks, put myself through a fitness boot camp, have a bit of a break, play a four-day game and play in the final.

"It's fantastic for the club and the boys deserve it. I think it's our time."

Yorkshire captain Alex Lees on Sky Sports: "I think we fell probably 50 or 60 runs short. We didn't execute as well as we'd have liked to and in the end we fell short.

"Ryan Sidebottom doesn't play one-day cricket anymore and we've got Jack Brooks but we went for the side that's got us through to the semi-final. We wanted to keep consistency in the team."

Gloucestershire dropped four catches in their innings, three of them admittedly very difficult, but it did not count against them in the long run, thanks to their captain Michael Klinger.

Yorkshire tried seven bowlers, including England's Adam Lyth and two teenagers, but they just did not have the guile yo upset Klinger's composure with the bat.

He has now scored 532 One-Day Cup runs this season at an average of 132.75 and a strike rate of over 92 and Gloucestershire will be desperate to have him available for the final at Lord's on 19 September, if at all possible.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE BEAT YORKSHIRE BY EIGHT WICKETSpublished at 17:20 British Summer Time 6 September 2015

Gloucestershire captain Michael Klinger has been his side's talisman today, and he smashes a six off Matthew Fisher over long off to give his side victory at Headingley and take his side to a first Lord's final since 2004 where they will face either Surrey or Nottinghamshire.

Yorkshire just could not break the partnership of Klinger and Marshall, who finishes with an unbeaten 78.

    Target 264

Three more to win for Gloucestershire. Michael Klinger will be facing at the start of the 47th over, and could fittingly take his side home to victory.

  10. dropped catch

    Gloucestershire 258-2 - Target 264

That sums up Yorkshire's day. Captain Alex Lees puts down a chance at mid-off from Hamish Marshall. He really should have taken that, not that it matters now.

  11. Gloucestershire 256-2 (Klinger 128, Marshall 77)published at 45 overs

    Target 264

Huge appeal from Yorkshire, even at this late stage, as Matthew Fisher looks to have Hamish Marshall lbw, but the umpire says the ball was going down the leg-side. The 17-year-old has probably looked the best of Yorkshire's bowlers today, but they've barely looked like taking a wicket since these two came together.

  12. Gloucestershire 251-2 (Klinger 126, Marshall 74)published at 44 overs

    Target 264

Hamish Marshall and Michael Klinger continue to go about their business efficiently, this time settling for singles instead of the boundary fireworks.

Gloucestershire just need 13 more from six overs. They can start dreaming of Lord's now, surely.

  13. Gloucestershire 246-2 (Klinger 122, Marshall 73)published at 43 overs

    Target 264

Hamish Marshall and Michael Klinger's partnership is now worth more than 150 runs, and they have pretty much seen their team to Lord's.

Yorkshire's bowling attack - without Ryan Sidebottom, Jack Brooks and Liam Plunkett - has not been up to scratch today. Their desperation is pretty much summed up in Matthew Fisher's lbw appeal when the ball was clearly going down leg-side.

Marshall then dispatches him over the top for four and his side need 18 to win.

  14. Gloucestershire 239-2 (Klinger 120, Marshall 69)published at 42 overs

    Target 264

Goodness me, Michael Klinger. Yorkshire have brought the field up and the Australian smashes two identical sixes straight down the ground for off young spinner Karl Carver.

This game will be over soon if he continues in that vein.

  16. Gloucestershire 225-2 (Klinger 107, Marshall 68)published at 41 overs

    Target 264

Matthew Fisher, one of only two Yorkshire bowlers to take a wicket, is back into the attack and Hamish Marshall and Michael Klinger add seven more runs to the total.

Gloucestershire need just 39 runs to win. You can almost get that in one over, right??

  17. Gloucestershire 218-2 (Klinger 103, Marshall 65)published at 40 overs

    Target 264

Appeal for a stumping against Hamish Marshall, but the third umpire ruled the New Zealander's foot was grounded.

We've now reached the end of the second power play. Can this pair lead the visitors home?

Michael Klinger reaches his hundred with two runs. It's his third in the One-Day Cup and eighth in all competitions this summer. His performance looks like taking Gloucestershire to the final.

  19. Gloucestershire 212-2 (Klinger 98, Marshall 64)published at 39 overs

    Target 264

Michael Klinger is making us wait for his century. He pushes a single to give Marshall the strike, and the former New Zealand international hits a four over mid-wicket off Steven Patterson before another boundary high over mid-on.

This is where Yorkshire's innings crumbled. Can Gloucestershire hold their nerve?

I don't think Carver has bowled that badly, but they haven't let him settle. A spinner, on this pitch, could have a key role, but Gloucestershire have played him really well.
