On the subject of the cricket indie disco, the band Lowgold had an album called Just Backward of Square. That must've been cricket-inspired. The White Stripes also had a cricket bat on the cover of one of their albums.

"Adil Rashid got the 'thanks for coming' award yesterday when he didn't bat or bowl, but he's going to have to be one of the five bowlers today."
Vic Marks
Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
"They could always get to India for the World Twenty20, Eoin Morgan chips a finger in the nets the day before the game and Jos Buttler might find 'I've never done this before' if he doesn't get a chance like today."
Ebony Rainford-Brent
Ex-England batter on BBC Test Match Special
"I think there's a bit of a new regime here where England are trying to plan strategically. This could pay dividends down the line. As a person and as a captain, it will take a lot for Morgan to be able to step back today."

So, what do you make of all that? Are England right to play selection musical chairs, or should they have a settled side before the World T20? And what about today? An England series win sealed, or heading for a decider on Monday?
And, see as we started with a mention of Maximo Park, there must be some scope for some Friday fun with a cricket indie disco?

Pakistan: Rafatullah Mohmand, Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Sohaib Maqsood, Sarfraz Ahmed (wk), Shahid Afridi (capt), Anwar Ali, Sohail Tanvir, Wahab Riaz.
England: Alex Hales, Jason Roy, James Vince, Joe Root, Jos Buttler (capt & wk), Sam Billings, David Willey, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid, Liam Plunkett, Stephen Parry.
Umpires are Pakistan duo Ahmed Shahab and Shozab Raza.
Jos Buttler, by the way, becomes the ninth man to captain England in a T20 international. No other Test side has had more T20 captains.
Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi: "We're playing with seven batsmen and me at eight, so we have good batting strength and will look to get them out under 150-160. I'm good the main thing is that my boys are positive.
"We've made two changes - Shoaib Malik and Ahmed Shehzad are back, Imran Khan junior and Mohammad Rizwan are out."
England captain Jos Buttler: "We've got four changes today, so it gives us plenty of opportunity to look at everyone.
"Tonight gives us the chance to win the series, so we're looking for another solid performance from everyone."
Jos Buttler's first act as an England captain is to call correctly. Bat first, a no-brainer.
England make four (yes, four) changes. Buttler, Joe Root, David Willey and Chris Woakes are in, Eoin Morgan, Moeen Ali, Chris Jordan and Reece Topley are out.
He wasn't wrong about the senior guys sitting out. Morgan himself isn't playing today. His vice-captain Jos Buttler, who didn't play yesterday (I hope you're keeping up with this) has been out in the middle to toss up...
See, Morgan was forced to explain why England omitted Jos Buttler and Joe Root from the team that won yesterday's first T20 against Pakistan.
The skipper reasoned that it was all down to exposing the younger squad players to pressure situations before next year's World T20.
"We don't have a good enough domestic T20 tournament for guys to be exposed to it as often as we'd like," said Morgan.
"This is a good tour to expose as many guys as we can to it. If it means senior guys sit out, so be it."
A Friday question for you...
What do Eoin Morgan and Newcastle indie rockers Maximo Park have in common?
Answer - they both want to know what happens when you apply some pressure.
