  6. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 12.3 overs

Hold up, the wickets are falling quite rapidly here now. McGlashan steps up the wicket to attempt the hit the spin bowling of Osborne down the ground, she misses it and Healy stumps her.

    WICKETpublished at 9.2 overs

    New Zealand 62-2.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 7.5 overs

    New Zealand 58-1

A slower delivery from Beams and Priest goes for another sweep. This time it's hit up off the top edge towards mid-wicket where Alex Blackwell takes the catch. Can Australia find a way back into the match?

  9. SIXpublished at 7.1 overs

    New Zealand 57-0

Not the best way to start the eight over if you're Australian. Suzie Bates is joining Rachel Priest in knocking the ball around the ground and sends the ball for six.

  10. New Zealand 51-0published at 7.0 overs

New Zealand have moved into a very comfortable position now. The sixth over ended with a brilliant six from Rachel Priest. The half-century partnership between Bates and Priest has come off 42 balls.

  11. New Zealand 31-0published at 5.0 overs

It's a solid opening stand from Suzie Bates and Rachel Priest. Bates has since hit her first boundary, but  Priest has stolen the show - two fours in two balls and a third lofted past mid-on with the final ball of the over sees the White Ferns move on to 31-0.

  12. New Zealand 14-0published at 3.0 overs

Well, this is a lot more comfortable than the Australian innings. Bates and Priest are collecting the runs nicely between them, playing the ball well. Bates is on eight, Priest is on six with thanks to a lofted four over mid-on.

Max Baggins-Craig: Bit of a slow start and shame Australia have been caught out a little, but I've the confidence they'll be just fine - c'mon Aussie's!

Theo Bowyer: Australia 4 for 4 has a satisfying ring on a Monday morning!

  16. Australia 103-8published at 20.0 overs

Australia end their innings just over the 100 mark. Not the 140 that captain Meg Lanning was hoping for at the toss, and a lot of work for the bowlers to do when they return to the field.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19.1 overs

    Australia 96-8

What a catch!! Sophie Devine diving superbly to take the wicket of Megan Schlutt. A flat hit down the ground towards long on and Devine has to run forward, dive to the floor before catching it down to her left hand side. Bravo!

  18. Australia 96-7published at 19.0 overs

Australia are trying to end their innings on a high note. Mooney has exploited that third man boundary twice in this over as the century doesn't seem an unrealistic target any more. This is remembering that earlier the Aussies were 4-4

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 18 overs

    Australia 84-7

Jess Jonassen is the next to fall in quick succession for Australia. She attempts a full swing at the ball but completely misses it and the ball hits the wicket.
